While it may seem like a daunting challenge, getting 8 Manufactures to Level 25 in the game, the reality is the opposite - because all that you have to do is stick with 8 manufacturers and remember to stop using them as soon as you cap then at Level 25! Really!

In fact I could probably stop right here, since that is almost all that you need to know -- except it is just a tiny bit more complicated than that due to a few other considerations, not the least of which is being able to squeeze through the Leagues with just 8 Manufacturers - which is not as easy at it might sound...

To understand the problem we have to take a look at the Leagues - but bear in mind that some of these are going to force your hand... So let us review the entire League spread:

Now the one League you are likely to have the most trouble with is the Specialized, so rather than try to force all of the races for that League into alignment with our “plan” we are instead going to ignore that League completely.

In fact it makes the most sense to save that League for last in our game play -- and then while running it, with any luck we will already have our 8 Manufacturers at Level 25 and it will not matter! That is certainly a possibility if you are also doing online multiplayer and not just single player campaign...

When you look at both the spread and the models, the choices tend to narrow down to the following:

  • Audi

  • BMW

  • Chevrolet

  • Ferrari

  • Ford

  • Mercedes-Benz

  • Subaru

  • Volkswagen

Most of the above are givens -- the exception being Subaru in that you can easily substitute another Japanese maker like Honda or Nissan and get a similar spread -- but the above are what we are going with as far as advice goes, with the understanding that there will be the odd race here and there where none of these will work and the odd race where the ones that will work are not necessarily the ones you want to drive...

Verdict:
Very Helpful
OK
Not Useful
