Horizon Festival

The Horizon Festival is where Forza Horizon is set. It is a music festival attended by the fastest racing enthusiasts around the world, and it's this mix of music and magnificent machines that gives Horizon its unique feel.

The festival takes place in Colorado, which lends the game its orange-tinted aesthetic. The developers took thousands of screenshots of the area and those are reflected in the game. The festival is undoubtedly the hub for all things in Forza Horizon, but there is still plenty to see outside it. Things like Barn Finds, where you can unlock classic or collectible cars and billboards to smash through for points, not to mention piles and piles of races and events to take part in. Once you have visited an area you also unlock its base camp, which allows you to 'fast travel' there in the future. But with driving in Horizon so fun, why would you want to miss out?
