Unicorns

Unicorn cars are not special in the sense that they can do things that other cars cannot, rather they are just a rarer and more difficult to obtain car - which naturally makes them highly desirable in the Forza racing community...

The following are the Unicorn Cars for Forza Horizon:

• 1969 Ferrari 246 Dino GT (Awarded for the Johniwanna Bounty Hunter Event)

• 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint (Award car)

• 1991 Honda CR-X SiR (Awarded for the ApexHunterT10 Bounty Hunter Event)

• 2009 Ford Fiesta ZETEC S (Awarded as the VIPs Christmas Present)

• 2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata Superlight (Award car)

• 2010 Saleen S5S Raptor (Awarded to anyone who played FH in the first 5 days)

• 2012 Mini Coupe John Cooper Works (Award car)

The mechanism for obtaining Unicorns in FH is very different than it is in the main series, as rather than seek them out in the Auction House or buy them as DLC, they are instead awarded by Turn 10 to the players for participating in officially organized events on the Team 10 Forza Site and Forums.

To participate in a Unicorn Event you will need to mind the official announcements and participate in the official site/forums and events - the easiest being to race online in the Dev-hosted races to be put on the distro list.

It does take time and some effort, but if you participate in the organized events you will get a Unicorn. Easy-peasy.
