Gold: Audi Elite

This Gladstone Canyon Run is a Point-to-Point Race on Asphalt, and offers you 250 Points towards completing the Gold Wristband and a purse of $17K to the winner (not including bonuses).

Restrictions for this race are Class-S or below cars manufactured by Audi.

While I am not exactly a screaming fan of Audi the truth is they make some pretty good cars, particularly for road racing. Just saying.

For this race it was Hobson's choice since I only have the one Audi (and you likely do too) -- but that works. It is old but it is proven. Besides this is a very fast and very short race all things considered, so just getting ahead and staying ahead is all you need to do to win, right? Right!

Of course it does not help that this mountain route is the one with the tunnels -- I hate tunnels -- they seem to by my Kryptonite or something. Ah well. As you can see in the video it is possible to have a bad start, still make a few mistakes, and win the race anyway. Watching the video to see what the track is like will help.
