This Bunker Dirt Sprint is a 3-Lap Circuit on Mixed-surface, and is worth 120 Points towards the next Wristband and $7K to the winner (not including bonuses).
Restrictions for this race are Class-C cars or below manufactured between 1970 and 1979.
There are three laps but they are tight laps and not very forgiving laps, so take your time, make the turns as tight as you can, and you should have no trouble getting to the lead of the pack by the middle of the second lap.
Once there, staying in front is dead easy but some emphasis should be placed upon limiting your mistakes, which in the case of this track is accomplished by paying closer attention to the surfaces you are racing on, because if you run into trouble it will be caused by them.
Many of the races coming up have the unique feel that is engendered by limiting the race to a specific type of car or age range, and this one is no exception to that and a very nice example of how the race restrictions can lend a particular feel to a race.
