In this game, you race just Fords, which is cool. The game was in three-pack of games for ten dollars. It came with some stupid games. It was well worth the ten dollars I paid for it. I am nearly done with unlocking the cars and tracks. I have only three competitions left to finish.
The graphicsI this game look a whole lot better than any other game I have seen. Better than X-Box graphics. The cars run smoothly. The shadows roll over the cars nicly and the trees look real, for once. All other trees are two pictures of a tree crossed at the middle.
The cars don't really sound right. The muscle cars don't cackle when the engine is at idle and the engines don't roar like muscle cars in real life. Other than the engines, the sounds are pretty realistic. The track sounds good against the tires and the music isn't that bad.
The game has near-realistic gameplay. The driving isn't like Gran Turismo 4 or Forza Motorsprots. It is more like Test Drive and other things like that. The game is not too hard but some competitions and race types really suck. The main compliant is the vintage race and the racing line style of race. Plus the other drivers are real jerks.
How many other games can you race an 80's no name car against a truck a modern rally car and a dune buggy at the same time? You can also race a Model-T against a model-A. The off-road tracks add a new set of challenges and extends the long-lasting gameplay.
Overall, this game is worth more than fifty dollars. It is a diamond in the mud. The tracks are different and the challenges are awesome. The ability to go through a challenge three times to unlock the car, paint jobs, and a GT coins adds some more staying power. This will last about 6 months after everything is unlocked.
