Introduction

The storyline features two empires,one being the Rozzarians(to the west) and the other are the Archadians(to the east).Both empires after a time grew a strong hatred with eachother and now are at an everlasting war until one empire ceases to exist.Now Archadia makes an attempt to grow it's territory by conquering the western lands of Rabanastre and Nabradia.Archadia launches a surprise attack and eventually destroys nabrodia and takes complete control of rabanastre.This where Vaan comes into play (one of the main characters),he has lost his brother in the war and now wil do anything to destroy it.Join him his and some unexpecting allies to team up and try to take down the Archadian empire once and for all

Graphics

Beatiful simply beautiful.This has to be the best game on the ps2 in terms of graphics.In some cut-scenes you actually think the place(or person actually looks real

Sound

Not much to say,the sound can be a little annoying at times,but it is much better then previous final fantasy'

Gameplay

Forgetting about the traditional turn base system they try and make theis a real time fight system.Where both your party and the opponent can attack eachother at the same time,causing you to think a little more then what you did in the previous versions.Alothough this sounds hard gambits can make things a little easier.what are gambits?They are commands your party does automatically when something happens.Like say you set a gambit of vaan-any ally 70%-cure.That means if someones hp is 70% or lower he will use the cure spell to heal him/her.And alothough these commands make the game easier they also make the game feal a little automatic.and you basically wont have to do anythign but move around and let your gambits do the work for you,but it is progress from the other battle system

Lastability

Another high mark and why not?So many things to do other then the main storyline(which can take up to 30-35 hours).Like one new thign they added was hunts:they are just basically tasks a person tells you to do,its not work it most of the time(actually all of the time) a monster destroying a certain area or causing problems and you have to eliminate it.But thats not all during the hunt you might have to do certain other things before you can get to the mmark(the monster your seeking) so it does involve some brain work not just strong people to complete hunts.By the way the last hunt is deafeting the mark Yiazmet,which has over 50 million hp!good luck with thatif you try it...

Final rating is a 9.1/10
Awesome game!only problem is the main storyline is hard to understand the first time.But once you do the story again alot of the parts will become more clearer to you
