This is another good game form Square Enix and yet another good game in the Final Fantasy Franchise. If your into RPGs, this game is for you. One sidenote though, don't play this game if you haven't played Final Fantasy X. This is the first sequal in Final Fantasy history. Saying that, play FFX first.
This is one of the most fluidly moving games that I have played in a long time. The cutscenes are so realistic that they make you feel like this is really happening in the real world as you are playing this game. The game is simply beautiful to look at.
The music is perfect. The voice actors are never over shadowed by the music (as in the game from my first review: see Inuyasha, the Secret of the Cursed Mask). The beautiful music makes you want to but those music spheres in Luca just to sit there for hours and listen to a real master of the music arts. If you have it, drop the money for the soundtrack. It's around $50.
The gameplay is excellent! The storyline flows perfectly through the game. The only reason that I gave this section a 9 is because I would have liked to see a few more places to go than in FFX. Other than that, the gameplay is great. It's great throughout the game, then draggs you back happily for more.
Because you can get three different endings, it makes you want to play this game more than once. There are also a lot of items to collect, not to mention all of the dress spheres to collect and then master. It is a lot of fun. The only reason that I gave this area a 9 is because to get the ultimate endind for this game, you must do EVERYTHING. They don't call it 100% for nothing.
Even with the few drawbacks, this game is still worth playing. I didn't even rent it first. I loved Final Fantasy X, so when I heard that there was a sequal, I jusy went out and bought it. Let me tell you, it was well worth it! But, like I said, if you haven't played FFX yet, play that first. This game will make much more sence that way.
