Introduction

This is the sequel to the game Final Fantasy X, but this time it's Yuna's turn for some action. With Rikku, and a new friend Paine, Yuna is in search for a lost friend who may still be alive. She becomes a sphere hunter, due to a sphere she saw in which the person looked like Tidus, the main character from the previous game. I must say though I was quite disappointed with this game. Though it gave a good ending to FFX, it lacked many things. Everything good about FFX, they took out.

Graphics

Considering the graphics in FFX, the graphics in this game were quite improved. They game programmers, some-what fixed the whole face animated than face going flat during scenes of the game, not that it didn't happen just not as much. I loved the look of the cutscenes, but I must say the game needed more of them.

Sound

I wasn't too particularly impressed with this game's music. I mean it wasn't bad, but it sounded too, how do I say this, techno or newish. The music didn't really fit the feel of the game, in my opinion. Like Besaid's music was okay, but it lacked the FF feel to it. I liked FFX's music far better than this game.

Gameplay

The gameplay was meh for me. I liked the dressphere idea for the new battling system, but they went back to the bar system. I liked the turn system far better because it gave you time to think about your next move. In this game though, I feel rushed during battle. If I want to use a special move, I have to think fast or else the fiend would kill me.
Most everything that was nice in FFX was ruined, including Blitzball. You can't even control your players! I was like WHAT THE?! I also found the sphere break mini game quite aggravating and hard to play.
Not to mention the storyline got very twisted and I lost track on what was going on. First Yuna ws trying to find Tidus, then she found Shuyin, and what do you know she has to save the world again. Honestly I feel the whole sphere hunter thing was quite dull, though I liked being able to play as Yuna.
The other thing that made me quite aggravated was the fact that if you missed something in a previous chapter you couldn't go back for it, you'd have to wait for a new game plus. Though the new game plus was nice, it made the game feel extremely short.

Lastability

Once you play the game a few times using the new game plus feature, the game becomes kinda dull. I mean you have to play the game through like 3-4 times before you can even reach 100% completion. Though the new game plus was a nice addition, the overall gameplay and storyline was quite short. After you play the game once through it goes by way faster the second time around.

Overall

Honestly, unless you really want to know the end of FFX, DON'T BUY THIS GAME!!! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!! I payed $50 for this game when it was still new and I was ripped off. Although this game was a good conclusion for FFX, I only have to words that can describe this game.

EPIC FAIL!

Final Score: 34%
