Full Review for Final Fantasy VII by 32083

Introduction

This is a great game with few flaws so it's not perfect but it's great.. Has some cheesy dialouge but great! The battle system is much improoved since the last final fantasy games. And the grahpics are much better too.. Obviously.. But ill get into that below.

Graphics

These graphics were up to date at the time and some of the best. It still doesnt look too bad. The 3D characters and citys are great. Unfortunatly Theres all the 2D stuff which aggrivates me because it just looks so bad. And the characters have no mouths! But the cutscenes are amazing.

Sound

The music for the diffrent areas of the game are cool. By far the best music is aeris's theme song. And Sephiroths theme song. I do wish they had a better theme song for shin-ra though. But they did have some great battle\boss music and great ending song too.

Gameplay

Easy. Fun. Entertaining. ...................................

Need I say more? Fine I will.

The gameplay is very smooth You can progress through the storyline as quick as you want or stop and train or maybe catch a chocobo and raise it to get a golden chocobo and get some materias. But it's just great!

Lastability

It's 2006 and I'm still playing it =)

I've been playing it for many years. I think it's because the diffrent varieties of things you can do in this game. You can beat this game 20 times and never do it the same way twice. Choosing between diffrent characters at the end, raising chocobo's using diffrent materia's and such.

Overall

This is a great game that has some flaws on it's story line and a problem with cheesy scripts. But overall it's great! It's fun entertaining and all around playable. It's a great game to get sucked into for 10 hours at a time. Though to replace it nowadays a used one can cost $81 and new starting from $171 (prices supplyed by amazon.com)

So I suggest you get yourself a disc cleaner before leaving it sitting around for 2 more years.
