Introduction

Fat Princess is a downloadable game on the playstation network which primarily focuses on team based online matches.the two main ones being team death match and capture the flag.or in this case capture the princess.now what makes this unique is the fact you can feed your princess cake to make her fatter thus making it harder for your opponent to carry her all the way to there base.this tiny tweak makes fat princess a lot more tactical and a lot more fun.

Graphics

Nothing too amazing,but whats there is very well done.The character models have nice detail as do the team bases.One thing that does get a rather dull look is the loading screen but that's just nit-picking.One thing I like most about the scenery is how cute it looks then all of a sudden you will reach a section of the map which is devoured in blood.

The menus look good and I guarantee many will laugh when you see what the single-player is called.

Sound

The music for this game is quit fitting but what makes this game stand out is the fantastic announcer.For one he speaks British so you know it will sound awesome,aside from that he will notify you when your base is being invaded by the opposing team and will also tell you when you have the princess in your grasp.t is very wise to keep in mind what he says so you have the upper hand in battle

Gameplay

Gameplay is very simplistic,you lock on and basically shoot your opponent down.

You have 5 classes to choose from:the mage,warrior,ranger,priest,and worker.

Each have pros and cons of there own.

The warrior has a shield and sword for devouring his foes.
The mage casts various magic spells,most notably fire and ice spells
The ranger shoots arrows,you can also charge them for more damage
The priest is essentially the team healer
The worker cuts logs and upgrades carious things around your base and making short cuts to get to the enemy base

Each class benefits heavily from each other and when joining a match you should see which class is lacking and pick that one up to give your team the upper hand.Also,I noticed my team benefits most when we are communicating with each other,this is very obvious.but many people over-look this aspect in team based games.

Lastability

This can vary for everybody reading this review but as of now the online is quite active,I find a match in about 3-45 seconds and the room is nearly full which is quite impressive for a downloadable game.

The matches them self can also last quite a long time,I'm talking 30-45 minutes so be prepared for a long and epic battle

The game also has a single-player mode so even if the online isn't active certain days you can still get your rumble on.

One unfortunate thing that game lacks is the ability to play split-screen so if you have a buddy over you will be forced to take turns playing,and by the looks of it this will not be included in any upcoming updates.

You also have online leaderboard to compare your stats with the rest of the world

Overall

As of December 21,2009 Fat princess costs 15$,which in my opinion is a steal for a game with such high amount of content such as this.it has a very nice class based online matches as well as offline.In addition it has full trophy support which is always nice.
