Loot Rucksacks are one of the more self-explanatory items to upgrade in Far Cry 3. Simply, they provide you with the ability to carry more items.

Simple Rucksack	32 Item Capacity	Boar Hide (2)
Rugged Rucksack	48 Item Capacity	Tapir Hide (2)
Heavy Duty Rucksack	64 Item Capacity	Dingo Pelt (4)
Extended Rucksack	96 Item Capacity	Undying Bear Leather (This is attained during a quest [Path of the Hunter])
