Note: before you get too far - this is NOT the final District in the game... In fact the game does not actually include ALL of the Districts it is meant to have... Yet. Even with the addition of the two next ones that came in the middle of the 4th of July Event, these are NOT all of the Districts that the game will have, they are just all of the ones (with the Entertainment District and Downtown District added) that the current crop of Characters require.

Take heart mates, the expansion of Quahog is an ordained fact and each new district and each new event will add more and more quests, missions, tasks, Buildings, objects, and... Well, you get the idea!

--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--

The Addition of Districts 8 and 9

With the addition of the final two districts for the core game (Districts 8 and 9) we now have complete access for ALL of the Buildings (and Characters) that were put in place in the game at its launch. There is more to this than just that however!

In the midst of the 4th of July Holiday Event these two new districts were added to the game, and along with them they ALSO added new Land Expansion Slots for the previously added districts. What does that mean?

If you look to the far-left-hand-side of the map, you will see that a total of SIX new Land Expansion Slots were added to the Districts on that side. These are - from the top to the bottom along that side:

1. Land Expansion Block 1L (1d 0h 0m 0s) at the cost of $25,000

2. Land Expansion Block 2L (1d 0h 0m 0s) at the cost of $30,000

3. Land Expansion Block 3L (1d 0h 0m 0s) at the cost of $35,000

4. Land Expansion Block 4L (1d 0h 0m 0s) at the cost of $40,000

5. Land Expansion Block 5L (1d 0h 0m 0s) at the cost of $45,000

6. Land Expansion Block 6L (1d 0h 0m 0s) at the cost of $50,000

That long line of new Land Expansion Slots will set you back a total of $225K plus the time required (which will be based on how many workers you have available).

In addition to these six new Land Expansion Slots on the left-hand-side, the right-hand-side has a narrow corridor of new Land Expansion Slots as well - that run in a narrow line between the existing districts and the two new ones (Districts 8 and 9) as follows:

1. Land Expansion Block 1R (12h 0m 0s) at the cost of $10,000

2. Land Expansion Block 2R (12h 0m 0s) at the cost of $10,000

3. Land Expansion Block 3R (12h 0m 0s) at the cost of $10,000

4. Land Expansion Block 4R (12h 0m 0s) at the cost of $10,000

Assuming that you have been fully participating in all of the events and obtaining all of the new structures these additional Land Expansion Slots will be of considerable value and use to you, since it is virtually a certainty that you will have run out of room for placing objects, structures, and the like long before you reach the point that you can unlock the next district!

District 8: The Entertainment District

This is the District in which you will obtain Bob's Funland Amusement Park (to add Stewie), and the Quahog Cinema (to add Carter), as well as other structure opportunities. The additions for District 9 are dealt with in its proper section of the guide.

Preparations for unlocking this new District should include - at a minimum - unlocking the four Land Expansion Slots that border it, as well as leveling ALL of the existing Characters in your town to at least Level 10 (but higher would be better).

The reason for that is so that there is no pressure on you in the process of leveling the new Characters, which you will also want to get to Level 10 as quickly as you can.

New Outfits

The launch and unlocking of this long-awaited new District - and the opportunity to obtain Stewie - is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, and this new zone also includes a rather amusing new Outfit for your favorite K9 pal, Brian!

So hey, yeah! Check it out!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

PB & J Brian

It's almost butter organic preserves time! What? I'm dating this chick who's way into farmer's markets.

That's right, this new outfit would make Elvis Presley very very hungry! Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich anybody? To complete this one will take a lot of help from a lot of neighbors! So get to it and collect the following resources:

  • x20 Banana Peels (Herbert: Frozen Popsicles / Bonnie: Clip Coupons)

  • x05 Maracas (Brian: Find Inspiration / Peter: Ride the Washing Machine / Get from pLace)

  • x25 PB&J Sandwiches (Meg: Scarf Down Hot Dogs / Bruce: Teach CPR / Chris: Eat Large Ham)

  • x25 Baseball Bats (Lois: Teach Piano / Jerome: Grow His Fro)

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Falconer Peter Outfit

For the man who has everything, or the man who has nothing, but wants a bird of prey to bring him everything.

The act of unlocking District 8 and engaging the Worker to clean up the Amusement Park Block triggers the release of a new outfit - the fourth outfit in Box #1 - and adds the resources to character Tasks as well.

To fully unlock this new outfit you will need to collect the following resources:

x15 Feathers (Meg: Practice Bird Calls / Quagmire: Genital Jamboree / Jerome: Play Darts)

x10 Meat Chunks (Dr. Hartman": Extract Gerbil / Quagmire: Let Gerbil Loose)

x10 Satchel (Herbert: 50h Energy Drink / Mort: Jetpack to Safety)

x5 Leather Gloves (Lois: Ride Bucking Bronco / Joe: Target Pract)

With this new set of resources now unlocked in addition to continuing to collect the resources for PB & J Brian you now need to actively work towards unlocking Peter's and adding 11th Outfit!

Helpful Hint #11

The Pause that Refreshes - and Clears Land!

You may recall from previous Districts that one of the tactics that we make use of - quite successfully in fact - is that of delay. Specifically because the selection and attention drawn by the new missions and their quests that arrive upon opening a new District is sufficiently compelling to the point of distraction we have found that in the long run and short-term, it is far more productive a tactic to delay that opening move than to complete it.

By doing so, Progress in completing tasks that already exist in our imaginary tick-list of things to be done before proceeding tend to be handled much more efficiently. Basically it gets results thanks to the lack of distractions.

And then there is the point that due to the nature of game play during the period between Districts, actual game play is streamlined thanks to the nature of those tasks - which are to build the required in-game coin bank to a sufficient amount so as to permit the purchase of the land expansion slots, and the burning of timers that are associated with those events. That strategy certainly applies here!

Needs Dictate Actions

Whether you are just now arriving at the completion of the missions for the Asiantown District, or you have been sitting on a completed Mission list all along, the arrival of first the Kingdom of the Full Moon Event followed quite briskly by the more intimate but no less enjoyable 4th of July Event will have left you with the following unresolved issues in your town:

1. A total of six moderately-sized land expansion slots along the far-left-hand-side of the map;

2. A total of four small-sized land expansion slots along the right-hand-side of the map;

3. A need to collect and spend a very significant amount of Coin.

With this in mind we seriously recommend that you cease all forward Progress while you address the clearly horizontal matter of completing both the land expansions and the deployment and re-arrangement of the event specific structures and decoration objects.

Dealing with Odd Appearances

While many of the structures from the two unique special events will be easily integrated into your existing town layout (Ricky's Cantina, the Quahog Egyptian Museum, Deep Fried Everything, and Stars and Skates immediately spring to mind) other structures and objects - some quite large - will not easily fit in with the basic structures that make up most of your town.

With respect to those oddities - which at this point will include the odd pyramids, a plethora of monuments and large statues, and quite literally piles of fireworks - the typical reaction we have witnessed in the game for our mates towns is to either get creative in their ultimate placement, or find ways to hide them behind larger Buildings...

We chose to take a different approach that, while it is slightly less creative does nevertheless address the issue. Our solution was to zone the objects - that is to say create a small area in our town that is intensely made up of the objects for each event and theme.

Using the top-two land expansion slots on the far-left-hand-side of the map, we placed all of the Egyptian themed objects and Buildings in one very compact area, though granted we tried to do it in as visually pleasing a grouping as possible.

Expanding the Land

With that out of the way our attention now turns expressly to completing the many land-expansion efforts as is required to completely clear-away that chore prior to officially activating the next District on the map.

To accomplish this part of the process what we did was switch our focus from the regular missions and quests process to rapid and regular play whose focus is to keep the entire population of the town actively pursuing the jobs (Tasks) that they have available based on their individual rank and level, with emphasis placed upon the most profitable (not necessarily in terms of XP but rather in terms of income of Coin).

Likewise every effort is made to quickly and efficiently collect the "taxes" for each and every Coin-generating object and structure in the town - so as to ensure that a constant flow of Coin into the bank account of the town serves to permit as rapid an expansion as possible.

Workers are the Brakes

The biggest impediment to both horizontal and forward Progress in the game at this stage is the artificial limit that is caused by the necessity for having an undocumented illegal source of labor.

We are of course referring to the collection of men with names like Jorge, Juan, Manual, and Lupe who live in the ramshackle structure that is accurately labeled the "Worker's bunks" and that - to make it very easy to locate - is topped with a Port-a-Pottie!

Bear in mind that every single active task or Mission that requires something to be cleared, cleaned up, repaired, or built will require that a Worker be free and available. If you only have one Worker (the one that you obtained as part of the Tutorial) then you can only undertake a single task or mission at any one time. If you have two, then you can do two missions or tasks, and so on.

The addition of new Workers is a Premium action - which means adding any additional Workers beyond the first gratis one that arrives as a part of the primary new player Tutorial will mean spending precious Clams (the Premium Currency in the game).

As was noted elsewhere in this guide, if you are careful to save every single free Clam you can obtain in the game via key tasks and missions rewards, and by visiting your neighbor's towns and completing helper-actions there - you should find the process of saving up the required Clams to unlock ALL FOUR Workers to be a trivial matter that just requires a lengthy bit of time and small effort.

This domestic palace at which your undocumented work force resides expands with a new level with each of the workers you add (as upgrades). The upgrade process works as follows:

1st Worker: Free from Tutorial

2nd Worker: 50 Clams

3rd Worker: 125 Clams

4th Worker: 250 Clams

Before you throw all caution to the wind and spend those Clams willingly you may be interested to know that twice since the game has launched the wizards behind its creation of held unannounced special mini-events in celebration of the Worker - during which the cost of buying a new Worker was HALF-OFF and in addition to that, the Build Times (build, repair, clean, whatever task that the Worker is set to do) is also half of the usual timer.

While there is no way to predict when they will have that special weekend thingy again, in practical terms since they are certain to do it again eventually it seems like a really good idea to us to hold off buying that fourth Worker until they do.

Seriously - it makes total sense to wait - having three Workers is almost as good as having four and while the discount of half-price on the third worker would be nice, getting it for the fourth one is majorly nice. You do what you want to do mates, but our advice is to hold off buying the 4th Worker until you get that discount.

Land Expansion Again

So either way you have your Workers, and you are playing the game in a holding pattern while you farm the Coin that you need to complete unlocking and adding all of the new Land Expansion Slots that have been added to the game.

Once you have completed that process - and realistically even if you created three of four banks of Coin Farm Offices, the process is still going to take slightly less than two weeks if you are playing three-to-four times a day - that means you will be delaying the act of unlocking the next District - and Stewie Griffin - for a couple of weeks.

The trade-off though is that when you DO unlock Stewie's District you will not only do so with a very nice surplus of land in your town - you will never again face the awful land shortages that plagued the game up to and through the 4th of July Event!

We hope that you will seriously consider making use of this tactic - we found it to be incredibly helpful in our game and are confident that you will find it to be just as helpful in yours.

New Characters

Shortly after the completion of the 4th of July Special Holiday Event and the unlocking of the next District in the game - this one - the Wizards behind the game quietly and without fanfare inserted the next set of Characters via the In-Game Store in the Characters Section.

This new set of Characters will be added to the game via new Districts that have themselves NOT been added to the game yet - so keep that in mind. At the time that the 4th of July Event officially ended and this new District was finally taken live (made unlocked and thus actionable) the following group of characters appeared in the Character Tab of the In-Game Store:

  • Stewie Griffin - in Bob's Funland

  • Carter Pewterschmidt - in Quahog Malt Shoppe

  • Mayor Adam West - in City Hall

  • Tom Tucker - in Quahog 5 News

Following the completion of the 4th of July Event and taking the new District live, the following NEW Characters were added to the game via the Characters Tab of the In-Game Store (with no other supporting information):

  • Barbara Pewterschmidt - in Mystery Building

  • Jillian - in Mystery Building

  • Neil Goldman - in Mystery Building

  • Death - in Mystery Building

  • Evil Monkey - in Mystery Building

Note: The second set lists "Mystery Building" as their actionable building because in the store the Buildings are listed as "???" and they all use the same generic picture to illustrate them - a collection of commercial multistory structures.

As more information becomes available it will be updated here.

District 8 Introduction

Regardless of how quickly - or slowly - you arrived at this point in the game, you are about to unlock the most eagerly awaited District in the game for a lot of players: the District that contains Stewie Griffin!

So mow that you have completed all of the missions and their quests to arrive at One Hot Mama Pt. 6 - all that remains is completing two relatively minor tasks:

1. Entering and Unlocking the District.

2. Clearing the Amusement Park Block.

Both of these Challenges are east to ID and relatively easy to complete!

Step 1 you simply tap anywhere on the Fog of War for the District, then tap the Let's Go button in the pop-up Information Box for District 8: Entertainment District. Completing that step causes the Fog of War to vanish, and the game to automatically zoom in on the Amusement Park Block.

With the Fog of War lifted for District 8 (District 9 is still concealed by it) you see just the normal clouds that indicate that the blocks revealed still need to be individually cleared through the use of Workers and Coin.

Step 2 simply requires that you tap around the Amusement Park, which is the only block that is displaying a Cleaning Icon (the leaf blower).

Tapping on that reveals that this Block has an 18h 0m 0s Timer attacjed and only costs $12K Coin to unlock. That is good news, as the land expansion slots that we just finished clearing to reach this point unhindered were considerably more expensive and time consuming than this.

Triggering the land expansion slot cleanup also triggers the first official Mission for District 8 - first displaying Peter complaining defensively about the nerd smells and then dispatching a Worker into the expansion block.

Bear in mind that this Mission Quest has no proper name - it is what it is after all... Witht he timer now engaged the 18h ticks away!

Missions and Quests

Now you have Progress clearly rolling! Despite that new outfit to work towards there is still the matter of getting the Mission System and its Quests fired up properly! And you know things are looking up when the opening mssage for the process includes a horrible joke and pun!

Peter: "Oh my God! I see my old falcon, Xerxes! I must get him and buy him Crest toothpaste for "Falcom Crest" jokes!"

x15 Feathers (Meg: Practice Bird Calls / Quagmire: Genital Jamboree / Jerome: Play Darts)

x10 Meat Chunks (Dr. Hartman": Extract Gerbil / Quagmire: Let Gerbil Loose)

Note: This is a LIMITED TIME and Special Event. When this Mission is flagged it starts a 15-day timer, and must be completed within that timer.

To put this in perspective for you it is exactly what it sounds like - a shameless reQuest that you visit the official page for Quest for Stuff on Facebook. When you tap the Open Quest button in the game it then loads your Facebook app (if you have that installed on your device) and loads the QfS page!

Completing this painless and quick Mission results in the award of 5 Clams (in case you forget Clams are the Premium Currency!) so hey, yeah! I wish they let us repeat that over-and-over!

Stu es Machina

As is the tradition with a new District, here is the event that repairs the character-granting building and Unlocks the new character to add it to your game - which in this case means Bob's Funland Amusement Park AND Stewie Griffin... Yeah! Stewie Griffin! Yay!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Stu es Machina Pt. 1

What is that strange blue light glowing in the Amusement Park? The only way you are going to find out is to find out!

Step 1. Repair Bob's Funland Amusement Park

To accomplish this task you will need to spend $20K in Coin and run out the 24h Timer. Once this repair is completed Bob's Funland Amusement Park reopens, and Stewie is "found" making the next bit possible!

Step 2. Help Stewie Get Stuff.

To accomplish this - and unlock fully the character of Stewie Griffin - you will need to collect the following Resources:

  • x30 Blueprints

  • x30 Jewels

  • x10 Plutonium

  • Make P B & J Brian do It in Slow Motion

  • Make Xerxes Bring a Turkey Leg to Falconer Peter

Right, so basically to unlock Stewie Griffin we need to complete three pretty hefty resource collections plus we need to not only unlock Brian's P B & J Outfit, but also Peter's Falconer Outfit and THEN we have to have those two Characters wear those Outfits to complete specific Tasks.

Well, this could end up taking quite a while!

Completing this Quest rewards you with $500 and 350 XP.

Stu es Machina Pt. 2

Now that Stewie's time machine is fixed he can go back in time... And naturally enough he wants to travel in time because hey, it's what the Stewmeister does!

Travel Through Time (4h) $50 and 30 XP.

Completing this Quest rewards you with $500 and 350 XP.

Stu es Machina Pt. 3

Trouble stirs as Stewie continues meddling with the time-space-continuum...

Travel Through Time (4h) $50 and 30 XP.

Completing this Quest rewards you with $500 and 350 XP.

Stu es Machina Pt. 4/strong]

Stewie needs more time to fix things and get the universe in working order again...

Suspend Time (12h) $100 and 65 XP.

Completing this Quest rewards you with $500 and 350 XP.

Stu es Machina Pt. 5/strong]

All of that time travel made Stewie's aim rusty. Clearly he needs to work on that.

Do Target Practice (1hh) $20 and 12 XP.

Completing this Quest rewards you with $500 and 350 XP.

Stewie's Tea Party Event

We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause you in terms of your web bookmarks.... What we had originally thought of as this new Mission for the Entertainment District has turned out to be a Special Event and, that being the case, we have moved the content that was previously found HERE to its own page in the Special and Holiday Events Section of the guide, which you can find in the nav menu on the right-hand-side of this (or any) page.

Sorry for the confusion - and good luck!

Helpful Hint #12

Beating a Brain Damaged Horse!

So, beating a Brain Damaged Horse is only slightly better than Beating a Dead Horse - but at least when you beat a Brain Damaged Horse you get feedback in the form of screams and pain responses to show you that you are going in the right - or wrong - direction! Just kidding PETA, please don't picket me!

While we hate to harp on issues that you know, we have already harped on to the point of actually probably really and surely being accused of preaching on the subject, let's talk about Land Expansion again right now, shall we?

No? Sorry, "No" is not an option - you have three choices here, please pick one:

1. Yes! Of course I want to talk to you about Land Expansion!

2. Sure, let's talk about Land Expansion.

3. You know, I really wanted to talk about Toys but first can we talk about Land Expansion? Please?!

IF you have already committed to going forward with the Missions - or more likely your impatience has caused you to go ahead and unlock the new District (District 8 : The Entertainment District : The District in which One Finds and Rescues Stewie Griffin) then well, the damage is done and we can now see how to best make it better.

Limited Time Events

Even if you did not succumb to the temptation of unlocking the next District you are still suddenly faced by the nearly overpowering urge to complete the Special and Limited Time Tea Party / Toy Collection Mini-Event - and really if you think about it what better way to spend your time than helping out your good friend Stewie Griffin?

Basically in the midst of all of the other things you have going on - expanding District 8, completing the resource collections for P B & J Brian and Falconer Peter, and completing the missions for the new District, you ALSO have to deal with the immense responsibility of finding good ways to get everything to fit into your existing town in a way that just looks boss and cool! So what do you do?

With respect to the Toy Collection - you do what you have to do to make that happen! Seriously, you can trust us on this, the pay-off at the end of this limited time Special Event is TOTALLY worth it!

With that in mind, and all things being equal though, your priorities should be to focus first on the Limited Time Event, then on the other collections, and finally on grinding funds for the Land Expansions, which really it is in your best interest to stay on top of.

That is it - this is the last time we will be harping on that issue.

No Candy for Old Men

First and foremost, well done! You have finally after all of this time and effort reached the point at which you have now been called upon to bring forth into the world one of the most offensive Characters in the world of Quest for Stuff: Carter Pewterschmidt!

That's right - you are there!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

No Candy for Old Men Pt. 1

So let us begin the process - and this Mission - in earnest, and start with the construction of the building with which Carter identifies the most in the town!

That, and of course helping him to gather some stuff in order that he too may be fully unlocked and added to the population of your newly rebuilt town and its Entertainment District!

1. Build the Malt Shoppe

2. Help Carter Get Stuff

First, building the structure known locally and in this hem space as the Malt Shoppe: spend some Coin - and when we say that, we mean specifically load the Characters Tab of the in-game mall and then select the Malt Shoppe and pay the $10K required for its building and construction kit.

They spell "shoppe" the fancy way to distract you from the fact that every milkshake is 20% teenager spit... Or do they?

Vincent: "That's a forking pretty good milkshake; I don't know if it's worth five dollars, but it's pretty forking good."

Be patient for a bit longer? Place the construction site in the location that you want the Malt Shoppe to be - now you could put it in the Entertainment District, sure, but do you really want it there? I don't... But it doesn't really matter where you place it as long as you place it, because that starts the 16h timer, and at the end of that timer, Carter arrives in your world, ready to be rescued.

Now to rescue Carter you are going to need to help him gather some stuff...

Next, Help Carter Get Stuff... by collecting the following resources:

  • 25,000 Coins (All Coin Collection Tasks)

  • 15 Sugar Packets (Peter & Chris Tasks)

  • 15 Fuzzy Slippers (Herbart & Quagmire Tasks + Herbert's House)

  • 15 Jewels (Peter, Mort, Jerome, Quagmire & Bonnie Tasks + Family Jewels)

Completing this two-part Mission gives you a Malt Shoppe, Carter, and also awards you $500 and 350 XP.

No Candy for Old Men Pt. 2

Carter's gotta show these kids what's what.

Mistreat Minimum Wage Employees (4h) $50 and 30 XP.

This also awards you $500 and 350 XP.

No Candy for Old Men Pt. 3

Carter balance out his sweets with vitamins - vitamins that come as little blue pills... Hmm.

Swallow an Old Man Pill (8h) $80 and50 XP.

This also awards you $500 and 350 XP.

The This & That Section

--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--

New Item Unlocks

Beginning the District 8 Missions and Quests System results in unlocking the following new objects:

DECOS Tab

  • Big Bubbly Fountain ($5K)

  • Carousel ($20K)

  • Condom Vending Machine ($10K)

Buildings Tab

  • Barrington Hotel ($20K)

  • Cherry Pit ($22K)

  • Quahog Cinema ($15K)

  • Quahog Playhouse ($25K)

  • Quahog Zoo ($25K)

Characters Tab

  • Carter in Quahog Malt Shoppe ($10K) adds Carter Pewterschmidt

Section Conclusions

Before we go any farther we need to acknowledge that, due to the major event that has just concluded - the Quahog Comic Con - this section (even though the bulk of the activities took place in another section of the guide) ended up feeling a LOT longer than it actually is. But that is OK.

Regardless of how far you managed to Progress in Comic Con, and regardless of which Characters and/or Outfits you were able to unlock and keep - and which you were not - there can be no question that you have once again come to experience what it is like to not have sufficient real estate to place everything you wanted to. We sure have!

So before we do anything else, we want to congratulate you on your excellent game play and tactics and the bang-up job you did with both this section and the Special Event.

Chances are pretty much 100% though that you are good and darn ready for the next section of our Quahog to finally open up, right?! Right!

So with that in mind we want to take a moment to remind you that this empty feeling gap between the end of Quahog Comic Con and the official unlocking of the next District should be the time when you work really hard to finish unlocking and adding every single Land Expansion Slot you can manage!

Keep your Characters with their noses firmly pressed to the grindstone, get as much money banked as you can in terms of Coin, and really seriously make an effort to wrap up any and ALL of the remaining Quest and Mission lines for the stuff that came before you finally unlock the new District - and the TV Station - because we have it on pretty good authority that things are about to heat up and get very very interesting!

In fact we will go so far as to say that from what we have heard, the game is about to go off in a new (and Welcome) direction that, take it seriously, you will be happy to have completed as much of the old content as you can before it happens.

So again, well done you! Now get busy!

Q. The blimp plutonium is missing. stewie needs to find the stolen plutonium before he can time-travel. Says to be continued. "to activate the blimp you'll need the stolen plutonium from quests in the downtown district." what am I supposed to do to continue?

A. This is now active as the opening part of District 10 so you can resume this in game now.

District 9 is in the game but is NOT unlockable yet. This is the same situation that was present with District 8 - but the good news is that as you have completed all of the District 8 quests and missions, you will be able to unlock District 9 instantly once the District is actually unlocked (the same as with District 8).
