A buildable item is indicated with a hammer sign in the top right corner. To build an item and use it you must first gather ALL the parts or ingredients. To avoid wasting space just place the unfinished item in storage until you have ALL the parts.
To use the main stove your Sim will need an empty counter top to prepare the food. Your Sim will always use the newest item unless broken or dirty.
When you Maximize ALL your Sim's mood and ALL 6 Needs they will become 'Inspired' for a limited amount of time afterwards. During this time your Sim will earn increased rewards from performing most of the tasks around the home. Note: there are some Quests that require your Sim to be inspired to complete.
When you are in 'Shop' mode click on an item in your home to bring up options. On this menu you will see the clockwise & anti-clockwise options to 'Rotate' the item, to 'Move' it up so that you can place it somewhere else in the house or in your storage, or 'Sell' to find out how much it is worth if you get rid of it.
The Sims: Social differs from earlier Sims games as building extends over your house and you need to watch out for a hammer sign in the corner of an item icon. This is like buying something that must be assembled except in this game you need to collect ALL the bits and pieces yourself. When you have completed building it you can then post it to your wall so that your friends can get Bling.
Use the 'Gift Items to Friends' as a trading tool. For example if you have a lot of Fury stacked up, send them some in return for something that your Sim needs.
Increase your XP level by progressing through the game completing tasks and interacting with friends. Doing this will also unlock additional features and more shopping options.
When you buy the G King Counter with 15,000 Social Points (no Sim cash needed) it is possible to achieve Skill Level 96 which allows you to earn 32 Simoleons by cooking BBQ chicken. Adding the 100% 'Inspired' bonus you can get 64 simoleons with each energy.
It is a way to quickly gain more simoleons in The Sims Social (Facebook).
Plant strawberries take 5 minutes to be mature (plant very much!), After being mature strawberries each give 44 simoleons.
PS: Never try to cheat, because it's all lies!
This is one of the best ways to earn simoleons!
PS2: Translated from Portuguese to English with Google Translator.

So you're INSPIRED but you have no energy.
Should we let that all go to waste?
To "Pause" the game, select the SHOP tab. Open another browser window and work/play something else for a while (be sure keep the Sims Social window active!)
The game is paused, but the ENERGY clock keeps ticking and will restore every couple of minutes. When you have the energy that you want (using it for skill tasks of course) you can resume the game and your INSPIRATION will still be intact, saving you the trouble of going through all those tedious motions.
Not a "Cheat" but definitely helpful ;)
