I have spent the last couple weeks earning "popularity points". The game is getting really boring at this stage. Has anyone passed this phase of the game, and does it start to get interesting again?

Honestly I said the same thing. It was really fun in the beginning, but now it's just a bore. I log on once a day, that's it. Maybe higher ranging it will get fun again. Once you open all the islands, it's kinda lame.

I agree the only reason I'm still trying is there is a Treasure Chest in Laffettes cave that I can't seem to get too. Any hints? It's to the right of the boat in a closed room.you can see it over the wall.

Today while trying to complete the mayor quests, and getting popularity points, jimmy buffet showed up and took me to a new island, iguana island. With new tasks and whatnot. Basically trying to rebuild the entire island. Also, there are platinum treasure chests and show up randomly in all of the different islands, it requires keys to open. I'm not sure how to get the keys, I'm assuming wildcard crates. I'm just a level 21, have just about everything unlocked, so it must just be a new part of the game they released. Can't find anything online about it either
