The Tournament round is supposed to give you extra coins and a chance to be in the top 100 players to get the coveted crown jewel. I have been playing this game since it came out and I still do not have the crown jewel. Nor have I ever been in the top. I have won over 1000 coins in the tournament room but was never awarded the top. When I asked about it, they said that you had to win in a certain way, which is getting 2x payouts in each round. It is a gimmick to keep you playing and hopefully buy credits. And that is a BIG mistake.

I'm not sure if I believe that you need to win in a special way. I've only been playing for a couple of months but I came 41st about a month ago. I only got about 1600 coins. My first round was a 1st place bingo with 2x payout.
