While you were delivering a letter to Emlyn, you may have seen a diary behind her. This triggers this particular quest. Read it and speak to a man named Hamish about it.

He is located just outside the house you are in.

You will most likely find him tending to some pumpkins. Ask him if he know someone named Moros.

He will tell you that he has heard of him and asks you to look and see if he is okay. Tell him that you will do so.

He also gives you another part of the journal to help you find Moros.

The clues will point you to an old cave in the southern part of the map. Go there and enter the cave.

Inside the cave, you will find Bovid the Black and the body of Moros behind him. He will say that he was tricking adventurers about that fake story and kills them and you are next.

Prove him wrong by defeating him. Bovid is a powerful enemy and shouldn't be taken lightly. He casts a powerful fire area spell similar to your own fire area spell but way stronger. It is best to have the tank engage him in melee combat while the other party members scatter. If you see him casting facing a party member, the fire spell will most likely spawn under that character's feet. so if you move them away right as he faces them, they won't be damaged.

Bovid drops neat equipment too so it is worth it that you beat him.
