The book states that a white ember was indeed sent to the Mages guild but it never arrived. So head on to the City of Light.
Head to the marker to trigger the next part.
Here you will find that three kings, all from different races are speaking about the recent troubles this world has.
Speak to Victus about the smuggled white ember and he will send you to a man named Quenton.
Quenton lives in the far south-eastern corner of the City of Light. Speak to him about the white ember.
