Shenmue Dreamcast Directions Booklet by wardles_tollbar

Not all of the directions to all of the places are in this booklet. If a game character tells you were
a place is or if it is on a map then you will not be told how to get there in this booklet. Check this 
booklet first though because the directions tell you how to get to the place from the place so you 
might get lost looking for the map and not be able to get to where you are supposed to go for days.

Disc 1


Doubita (Road Entrance) � Funny Bear Burgers

Continue to follow the pathway until you come to a  dead end straight ahead and on your left is
Funny Bear Burgers.


Aida Florist � Tom`s Hotdog Truck

Continue to follow the main road away from Funny Bear Burgers until there is a pink truck on your 
right. Tom is the one dancing in front of it.


Suzume Park � Tom's Hotdog Truck

Once you are out of the park turn left and then left again. Go straight ahead until you can see his 
truck on your left.


Bar Yokosuka � Heartbeats Bar

Once you  have exit the bar turn right. Keep following the path round until there are some small stone
steps on your left.


Hirata Tobacco Shop � Nagai Industries

Turn around and then turn left. Follow the main road until a scene starts. After the scene you will be 
facing a vending machine. The green door on your left is Nagai Industries.


Nagai Industries � You Arcade

Once you leave, turn right and follow the main road until a  scene starts. If one doesn't then turn 
around and go back again. Repeat this process until one does happen.


Fight � You Arcade
There is a building with a sign saying �Game You� in neon lights straight ahead of you. This is the 
You Arcade.

 
Disc 2


Warehouse No. 8 � Old Warehouse District

Turn left and j ump  down from the brown blocks. Go straight ahead. Turn left on your next turning, 
go straight ahead. Once you can't go straight ahead any longer turn right, and then turn left. Keep 
following the road down until you see a pink truck straight ahead. Turn right and then left, straight 
ahead will be the old warehouse district.


Old Warehouse District � Hisaka-san`s Stall

Turn around, go straight ahead then right. Follow the main road back. Stick to the right-hand side, 
until you see a woman at a table straight ahead. Go to her, but DO NOT turn unless you have to/told 
to.  


Hisaka-san`s Stall � �Old Man� Scene

Keep going roughly straight ahead.


�Old Man� Scene � Vending Machine

Go straight ahead until the vending machine is on your left.


�Homeless Old Man� Scene � Mad Angels Hideout

Go straight ahead until a scene starts, except when you have to turn.


Mad Angels Hideout � Hisaka-san`s Stall

Go straight ahead and turn left. Keep following the road until a  scene starts (stick to the left once 
warehouse no. 1 3 is on your left.


Hisaka-san`s Stall � Old Warehouse District

Turn around and go straight ahead, once you can't go straight ahead any longer turn left, then turn 
right. Keep following the road down until you see a pink truck straight ahead. The old warehouse 
district is to the right of this truck. (If it is not there then you saw it earlier so pretend it is 
where is was earlier).


Old Warehouse District Entrance � Old Warehouse No .8

Very carefully follow these directions. If you want to pause the game at any time to look at these 
directions or for any other reason then j ust press start. To unpause it, press start again. 
Once you can control Ryo yourself then wait until the security guards have gone round both corners 
and are fully out of view. Now run round the first corner on your right and hide behind the cans on 
your left, you can hide by pressing A. Wait for the security guard to turn the corner. Now quickly 
run straight ahead until you come to a left turning, turn left here, then turn right. Ryo will now 
tell you that you have found warehouse no. 8.  Now enter the warehouse quickly. If you stop without 
being told to here or go to late/early or anything else like that then you might get caught and end up
starting all over again, so be careful!


Bunkado Antiques � Tomato Convenience Store

Turn right and soon you will see on your right a shop on the corner with a yellow sign. This is it.


Hirata Tobacco Shop � Old Warehouse District

Get the bus to the harbour and then keep going roughly straight ahead once you have turned left, until 
you have to either fully turn left or fully turned right (not including if you walk into the side of 
the warehouse, if you do this you turn right, then left and continue to walk in a straight line, 
roughly). Then turn left, and then right and then it's straight ahead on your left.


Home � You Arcade

Go the forest way to Doubita. Keep going until you have to either turn left or turn right. Turn right, 
keep going and you will find yourself in this situation again, this time turn right and go forwards by 
2 or 3 paces.  Now it should be on your right


Disc 3


Bus Stop � Warehouse No. 18

Turn left and then follow the directions on the floor, stick to the left.


Warehouse No. 18 � Warehouse No. 1 3

Turn left and follow the directions on the floor.


Bus Stop � Warehouse No. 1

Go straight ahead, turn left, and then right. Now follow the directions on the floor.


Warehouse No. 1 � Alpha Trading Office

Turn left, then right and it should be on your left.


End of Work/Dinner Break � Warehouse No. 4

Turn right and go straight ahead, roughly until you have to turn fully left or fully right.  Turn left 
and it is the first one on your left.


Warehouse No. 4 � Alpha Trading Office

Exit the warehouse, turn right and then right again. Go roughly straight ahead (head towards the right 
side, not the left. 


End of Work � Warehouse No. 17

Turn right and go straight ahead, turn left as soon as you can, then j ust go roughly straight ahead 
until a  scene starts. 


Home � Bus Stop

Go the forest way to Doubita. Turn left and then right. After that turn left and then go straight a
head until Ryo realises that the buses don't run this late.


Bus Stop � Knocking Motorcycle Shop

Go straight ahead and turn right. Keep following the main road, and then turn right. Keep going until 
the Knocking Motorcycle Shop is on your left. Knock on the green door.


Knocking Motorcycle Shop � Naoyuki`s House

Turn around, and then turn right. Keep following the road and then turn right. Turn left and keep 
going. Go straight ahead and turn left. Now go straight ahead to the second to last house on your 
right. Turn right and a  scene will start. If one doesn't then walk forwards until it does.


Alpha Trading Office � Tom's Hotdog Truck

Turn left and follow the main road until you see a pink truck straight ahead. This is it.
