Are ther really any other characters you can get besides
Sonic,tails,amy,knuckles,e-101,big the cat,or super sonic?

I'm not 100% sure.
There are a few rumors though that you can play as Metal Sonic by colecting all the emblems and by completing the game 100% you can play as the doctor but they might not be true.
I have seen all kinds of rumors, most I'm pretty sure aren't true but I've heard there is a super for each charachter, I'm nearly 100% sure there isn't though...
It is not true that any other characters appear in the Dreamcast version in Sonic Adventure,but there is on the Gamecube version.
In the directors cut, you can play as metal sonic if you collect every single emblem.
