Introduction

Drawn to life is a game created for the Nintendo DS. In this game you must save the Raposa(and Mike) from a rogue village member: Wilfre. Who tore the pages from the book of life, a magic book that when the creator drew objects which were then made real. And after Wilfre tore the pages, the creator left, then came back this is when the game really starts with you as the creator.

Graphics

You must say that even though it's 2-d, I must give them credit for the fact that the drawings are used in gameplay and in the ending movie with Mari. So I give it a 10 for the effort to make a game where you control the way items look.

Sound

The sound is great but it doesn't fit the mood somehow like if your facing a shadow person on the first try it just uses the same ol' music. It gets old after a while although the music isn't normally what you focus on while playing in depth, if you know what I mean.

Gameplay

The gameplay is more than easy but challenging at the same time. Reasons are for the fact that it's an easy game, but some levels can be confusing because of all the twists and turns you must take. As well as the bosses can be challenging sometimes; I would say that frostwind is overall easy but deadwood is somewhat challenging but it's creative as well from the shooting acorns at the bundles that are hanging and then getting inside and having to beat a shadow creature. (it took me a lot of tries to even get through the first part of deadwood, but the inside is easy, but the second time through I did it on the first try). And the angler king is sorta hard but easy as well too but thats just me deciding. Wilfre and the scorpian is easy as well, I mean as long as you know what your doing. It has good gameplay overall

Lastability

This game has a good amount of lastability. Meaning that it makes you bored after a good long while. Reasons are that it is an overall short game, but has those extra things to actually beat the game and it can also be fun to go back and face any boss that you wish, when-ever you feel like it. I myself have infact gone back and defeated wilfre about 5 times and frostwind about 5 as well. And the extra things to beat the game is cleaning out issac's shop and entering developer's grove (in the well after putting in 10,000 rapo coins in). So over-all, it lasts for a while (about 2 days (less than 48 hours) is all it took me to beat the game the second time through)

Overall

It's a great game and I was kind sad when I beat it and then there were no bonus worlds or minigames, etc. And it can get funny at times as well: like when I made chef Cookie's sign say "YUCK! STAY AWAY!" and then he says oh what a glorious sign now everyone will want to come. And when I drew scarecrows in place of the banya crop, and farmer brown says that they are the best looking banya he's seen. And there is a typo in-game here: after you get the Kaorin berry bush page that Count Choco traded isacc for "tovato juice" from isacc, and go to see the mayor and after you plant them the mayor will say "Kori Berries" but it's a "Kaorin bush" and he later says it as it's supposed to be said: "Kaorin Berry" while hes talking to Samuel

Final Score: 94%
