Walkthrough

Before starting, carry a Flask of Water in your inventory. And have a lot of patience.

First, talk to Fournival and then to his bratty daughter. You have to follow her as she runs to Fountain Square. Do not bump, carry her or fall behind. She'll stumble and fall when she's near the Cathedral. Wait for her to get up and walk with her until you reach the Union Inn. She'll then tell you that she wants to play hide and seek and go running off. You'll find her either behind the fireplace inside the Union Inn or at Arsmith's Alehouse. Talk to her when you find her and talk to her again to start the next portion of the quest.

Walk with her around around the market. She'll then head to the gate leading to the Craftsman's Quarter. Talk to her again and she'll ask for water this time. Give her the water and talk to her again. For the final objective, you have to race against her to the northern gate. For the best rewards, you have to let her win but through a close fight. Just run/jog after her until you reach the finish line. She'll then ask you to bring her back to her father and will be teleported back to the manor. Talk to Fournival to complete the quest. To get your reward, you have to talk to Symone.
