Introduction

Another great game for the Dragon Ball fans al over the world to enjoy. While it's not considered a sequel to the highly raved Legacy of Goku series, this game promises to keep you hooked, up until maybe the third level. This game is more of a beat-em-up game than an RPG, and seeing the harsh difficulty for the second level, players will find themselves turning to strategy guides and the internet to beat this game.

Graphics

Graphics, something a game is mostly based on. This game has some good graphics, but it cannot contend with it's Legacy of Goku counterparts. Special moves used by Goku and Pan, the kamehameha, are really only the ones you could really see over and over, second to that is detailed enviornment, while it's not destructable like LOG you can get distracted looking at the scenery. Score 6 on this one.

Sound

Not bad at all, I would say it can stand with Advanced Adventure in the category of sound, with Advanced Adventure slightly ahead, but it's a pity that Konami couln't make the characters call out the names of the attacks, oh well. Score 5 on this one, folks.

Gameplay

Great gameplay overall, the levels are long enough to give you a challenge, but not too long that you'll get bored and want to throw your gameboy against the wall, but still, you'll get a kick out of this beat-em-up, it's a good stress reliever, to say the least. Score 7 on this one.

Lastability

After a couple of weeks at this game, unless you're a Dragon Ball GT fanatic, you will probably want to put this one down for a while, wait until you've had atleast one month free of DGBT and go at it again, if you haven't totally forgotten how to play, that is. Score 4 on this one, very sad.

Overall

Overall, this game gets my approval, and I encourage those students that are taking tests, be it regents or just a regular old test, to relieve their stress on this game, but I warn you, it might just add on to that stress. People, please do not melt your GBAs on your stove over the stress this game causes, it's just Konami's way of saying, wait until LOG 4. Score 7 overall. Sweet game.

Final Score: 42%
