Cursed to Golf is a roguelike game where you play as a professional golfer killed by lightning right before the end of a tournament. You are then sent to Golf Purgatory, which you have to escape by completing eighteen randomly-selected holes in a specific number of strokes, with the aid of statues that grant extra shots when broken and powerups known as Ace Cards.

Beware of Hazzards
Aside from the usual sand traps and ponds which you get in real life golf there are several other hazzards you will need to contend with in Cursed to Golf. These include gravestones which if you land too close to will have a skeleton steal the ball and stages that are marked on the route map with skulls that indicate they have limitations, such as only being able to hit the ball left for example.
Use the Driving Range
Take advantage of the driving range which you can use to practice in without any consequences. The game will also give you dummy cards to test out. It is essential that you get to grips with spinning the ball backwards and forwards as this can make all the difference when playing your shots.
Choose your Own Clubs
The AI in Cursed to Golf will automatically select what it thinks is the best club for you to use for your shot. Don't be afraid to go against the recommendation as there will be occasions where there is a better choice. An example of this is on the rough grass where the iron will be selected for you, but if there is a hole or other potential opportunity nearby you may find it more beneficial to switch it for a wedge club instead.
