Crash Bandicoot games are not known for their story, whatever plot there is is pretty straight forward and doesn't need a genius to follow it. In which case there is a good probability you will want to skip the cutscenes and the dialogue associated with them and instead carry on with the platforming as quickly as possible.

If you are one of these gamers you will be pleased to know that you can skip cutscenes in Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time by pressing any button while a cutscene is going on. If you look at the bottom right of the screen you will be able to see a prompt that will inform you that you can press and hold Triangle (PlayStation 4) or Y (Xbox One) on your controller to immediately skip the cutscene.

You will probably want to watch all the cutscenes the first time you play through Crash Bandicoot 4: It's Almost Time but in subsequent replays they will become tedious and annoying so knowing how to skip them is extremely useful.
