In Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time you will be able to save a considerable amount of time by Fast Traveling across the Dimensional Map. In order to be able to Fast Travel you must first pause the game from the Dimensional Map. If you then head over to the Level Stats icon you which will bring up a dimension-by-dimension breakdown of your performance along with how many of the gems you were able to find.

From here you simply need to search for the stage you need to return to and press X (PlayStation 4) or A (Xbox One) on your controller to 'Play Level'. This will bring up the option to choose between the normal version or N' Verted form of the stage which you can then jump straight into.

It is recommended that you use Fast Travel whenever possible as it is a great way to save time as you are able to avoid walking all around the Dimensional Map to get where you need to go. It will also enable you see what levels you still have incomplete tasks in.
