Coral Island Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include how to get free energy for your character and why you need to make sure your character is tucked up in bed before midnight.

Move Faster

Your walking speed in Coral Island is slow which can make getting around the island tedious at times. To speed things up it is recommended that you either use the Shift key to toggle between Sprint and regular run or enable the Auto Sprint feature from the game Settings.

Refill your Watering Can

When you first equip your watering can it is full. Providing it is equipped you can refill it at any time during the game by going to any pond or body of water. You will find two locations on your farm this can be done at.

Free Energy

You replenish your character's energy in Coral Island by consuming certain items. If for whatever reason you are low on these eatables you can always replenish energy for free either by sleeping ('Go to bed') or by visiting the Bathhouse to access the Hot Springs which can be unlocked by completing the second offering at the Lake Temple.

Unlock Fast Travel

Coral Island has a Fast Travel system that will make getting around the island a lot quicker. It can be accessed by unlocking the Lake Temple, obtaining an item called The Third Eye, and then completing any of the temple offerings. To unlock the different fast travel points around the island, so they are available to use you need to find Altars and fulfill their specified requirements to unlock them.

Upgrade Tools

The ability to take your tools to the blacksmith to get repaired becomes unlocked once you have progressed far enough into the game that you can go diving. In order to upgrade your tools you will first need to build a Furnace and Extractor which will require you to go diving to collecting plenty of seaweed and also scrap and metal ores which you will be able to acquire by mining in the Cavern.

Collecting Resources at the Mine

Use the sword that is given to you by Kira when you first enter the Mines to break destructible objects such as crates and barrels to get Ores, Wood, Fire Agate, and other items. Also, by digging the cracks in the ground you will find ores. If you dig a spot you will make a line leading toward a particular direction and if you keep following this path you will eventually reach the Ore deposit which will enable you to get some lucrative ores that you can use in crafting or sell for money.

Be Back Before Midnight

Keep in mind that if you stay out past midnight your character will pass out suddenly and be carted back to the farm by the medic which will cost you money. You can avoid this from happening by making sure you are in bed before the witching hour.
