Full Review for Combat Arms by g33k

Introduction

"Combat Arms" is an online mmofps game. Published by Nexon.net. The game is free to play and as I understand will remain free to play forever. How ever you can chose to purcahse in game items with NX cash which is bought with real world money. How ever that have said that there will never be a weapon that is stronger than you can buy with out spending cash and using the in game money you get from playing the game.

Graphics

The Graphics of the game are some of the best that I have ever seen on a free down-loadable computer game. The only problem is that every now and then they lag(depends on your computer from what I understand) and you need a really good graphics card to play them at the best settings.

Sound

The sounds from the game are okay at best. The have some pretty good parts like when walking in snow you can actually hear the snow crunch under your feet but they don't really have much of a variety of gun shot noises from what I have heard. They are not the best that could have been made but they are better than some others.

Gameplay

The game-play is very good from what I have played. They have tons of different weapons and all of that. Ranging from assault rifles to sniper rifles to shotguns and pistols and sub-machine guns. The differnet game play modes are a really nice addition. There is elimination which is one team against another first to a certain number of kills wins. Then there is Army of One which is a free for all type of game. Then you have capture the flag in which you must capture the enemy flag and take it to your base to score while not letting the enemy capture your flag. Then you have search and destroy in which you must find and destroy the target.

The ranking system is another cool part of the game in which you start out as a trainee and can go all the way to the position of general of the army.

Also the clan feature is cool in which you van join or make a clan in which you and other players can have a way to organize clan events and such.

That is about a short overview of the game-play you will want to play the game in order to see all of the features...

P.S. Also they update the game with patches bi-monthly from what I understand)

Lastability

The game will last you for a very long time if you enjoy playing FPS and enjoy trying to beat the enemy. I would guess that if you are willing to play for an hour or two your first time that you will be hooked for a long time on this game. One of the best I have seen.

Overall

Overall the score of this game is 9/10 the only reason it isn't 10/10 is due to the control scheme in which you can't change from using the mouse. Other than that part this game is one of the best that I have seen in years.
