Pop Goes the Weasel

Pop Goes the Weasel (25G) In “Mob of the Dead”, break the cycle.

This Achievement is part of the ten Achievements that are added to the base game by the Uprising DLC Map/Expansion. Uprising is added to the base game through purchase via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace / PSN for 1200 MSP / $14.99 respectively. It adds 10 Achievements and 250G / 10 Trophies to the game.

Being one of the more complex and challenging Easter-Egg based Achievements, and in view of the lengthy series of email exchanges relating to questions about this Achievement, the following specific and step-by-step advice is offered in order to facilitate unlocking this Achievement without causing a massive measure of frustration...

First and Most Important Note: To unlock this you will NEED a minimum of TWO (but more is better) players!

Step 1: Obtain Hell's Retriever

To complete this step you may also be completing the actions that are required to unlock the Achievement/Trophy “Feed the Beast” (10G) In Mob of the Dead, obtain Hell's Retriever.

To accomplish this you need to complete the following steps: There are three different areas where a giant Hell Hound can be found, and to spawn them you will need to slay a Zombie adjacent to the symbol in the prison and unlock all three - and then feed the Hell Hound an additional 10 or so Zombies.

Look for the bloody symbols of a Hell Hound face in the following three areas:

• At the Docks across from where the Tommy Gun is found;
  
• Under Electric Cherry;
  
• Next to the entrance that leads to the Roof.
  

Lure a Zombie near each symbol and kill it to spawn the Flaming Hell Hound - let it completely devour the Zombie and then feed it another one, rinse and repeat until you end up at the upper spawn point where you will see three symbols - continue to feed them until you unlock “Feed the Beast” and thus obtain the Hell's Retriever!

Step 2: Construct the plane and fly to the Golden Gate Bridge

To complete this step you are going to need to complete the steps for the Achievement No One Escapes Alive in order to build the plane (see that Achievement Page for details). Once you have done that, fly to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Step 3 - Build and fly another two planes.

Once you arrive at the Bridge you will need to wait for the electric chair to spawn so that you can teleport back to the Prison, and rinse and repeat the steps for No One Escapes Alive to fly to the Bridge and then do it all again for a third time.

Once you complete the third trip you will also unlock the Achievement “Making the Rounds” (30G) In “Mob of the Dead”, complete the cycle 3 times - so hey yeah, if you have not already unlocked these you are making great progress on unlocking Achievements just doing this one!

Step 4: Obtain the Blue Skulls

The Blue Skulls can be found in five locations - you need to go to each location in order to hit each of them with the Hell's Retriever:

• Docks near the tower trap;
  
• Corner of the building across from the roof;
  
• In the Warden's Office;
  
• Through the second door of the Olympia Room;
  
• Near Juggernog on a lamp post above on the hill.
  

Step 5: Poster

Outside of the Warden's Office you will find a poster in one of the cells - simply hit it with the Hell's Retriever.

Note: Hitting the Poster with Hell's Retriever will spawn the Blundergat on the desk in the Warden's Office. While you do not need it for this Achievement, it is used for unlocking Acid Drip (20G) In Mob of the Dead, convert a weapon using a kit - so you may as well grab it if you have yet to unlock the Acid Drip Achievement...

Step 6: The Two Spoons

Head back to the Electric Cherry and search for the hole - once you locate that, enter the Afterlife and go through the hole, where you will find the first spoon.

Head back out and then to the Cafeteria area, where you will find in the far back a window between the Claymore and the Work Bench; look through the window to spot the table with some shelves and the second spoon on it.

Throw the Hell's Retriever at the spoon to collect it and change your melee weapon into a spoon.

Step 7: The Number Panels

Next you need to go to the Spiral Staircase and descend to the bottom where you will find the three number panels spinning there.

Note that if you arrive and do not find them here, you did not complete three separate flights from the Prison to the Bridge! What are you doing at this stage if you did not do the three plane escapes?! Go do that now! Better yet, have already done it so that you DO see them!

Enter the Afterlife and go to the panels and put the following numbers in - note that due to the limited time in the Afterlife, you may find that this works best with a partner with whom you can divide the tasks up to get it done faster...

Enter the following numbers and note the changes - you should get the second result when you enter them:

• 101 - 011
  
• 386 - 863
  
• 481 - 184
  
• 872 - 728
  

After entering the numbers correctly (not sure if the order matters) you will hear an audio file playing of a person talking and your screen will turn black and white. At this point you know you did it correctly, and you can no longer enter numbers in the panels.

Step 8: Broadcasts

For the next stage you need to obtain the five headphone-like objects that are scattered throughout the areas.

Basically these will appear in sequence and you have to collect the first before the next spawns, and etc. You will find them in the following locations, which is an intentional path meant to take you on a specific route:

• The Spiral Staircase
  
• The Area above the Spiral Staircase
  
• The First Level of the Cell Blocks
  
• The Infirmary
  
• The Stairs to the Roof
  

Once you have picked them all up the sequence will have taken you to the roof, where you will hear the previous audio file again.

Step 9: Refuel The Plane

It is now time for you to collect the five cans of aeroplane fuel again one last time, and use them to refuel the plane.

Note: You should refuel the plane but do NOT ride it just yet, there is still a bit to sort out...

Step 10: Finale

Just down the steps from the roof where you find the Hell Hound symbol you will find a red Fuse Box on the right-hand wall. One of you will need to use an Afterlife Token, and once you have entered the Afterlife, you just need to shock the Fuse Box and then board the plane.

At this point if everything was done right everyone else should be forced into the Afterlife and onto the plane - but if they are not they need to enter the Afterlife and get on the plane as all of the players MUST be on the plane and in the Afterlife!

WARNING: Whatever you do, do NOT simply hold down the X-button, because there is a glitch that can happen if you do that will cause the plane to leave without you, and thus you will be required to start over for this and that would suck, right?

Once you arrive, simply use the Electric Chairs, revive yourself, and you will see some lightning and your group will fight some Wardens.

After the Wardens are defeated you will then go into P2P battle against each other in a fight to the death!

Presuming you actually paid attention to the clues (and you should have) you know who the Traitor is - and once the Deathmatch Battle concludes, the Achievement will unlock for everybody.
