High Maintenance (75G) In Die Rise, be the architect of their instruction.

This Achievement is part of the ten Achievements that are added to the base game by the Revolution DLC Map/Expansion. Revolution is added to the base game through purchase via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace / PSN for 1200 MSP / $14.99 respectively. It adds 10 Achievements and 250G / 10 Trophies to the game.

This is another one of the Achievements in the game that is considered particularly difficult to unlock (for reasons that will rapidly grow obvious as you read this)...

To begin with get your team set up with a voice communications option (VOIP, Skype, whatever works best for you) - you are going to need the following resources to do this with any chance at success:

  • Four (4) Players
  • 4-Way Voice Communications
  • A Sniper Rifle
  • A Sliquifier
  • The Power turned On

Assuming you have the above well in hand, you then need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Power On


Turn the power on - you cannot start this quest without doing that first. To do this you need to kill a number of Zombies sufficient to obtain at least 750 points. Enter the lift and ride it down to the bottom of the shaft, exit and then head down the hall and to the right, jump the gap and exit the room on the other side to the right, entering the room with the locked double doors.

Spend the 750 points to unlock and open the doors, then run through this area to the back and press the switch to turn on the power. Oh yeah, now don't die.

Step 2: Tile Engagement


Locate the four lift tiles (one tile per lift) and have each of your three other mates activate the tile in their lift at the same time that you activate yours. You are thankful that you set up Skype or some other method for chat now, aren't you?

Locate the 3 tiles which are somewhere on the floor in the previous area and, with the assistance of your mates (now you again appreciate the voice communications requirement) you will need to activate the tiles in the correct order.

Note that as these have a number of spawn points you first need to search them out, and once you have them located, you need to activate them in a set order - which you will determine by trial and experimentation until you get the correct order, which you will know because a new audio file will play as a result.

Step 3: Sniper


Using the Sniper Rifle shoot the orbs from the Dragon mouths in order to relocate them at the spawn point, under the feet of the Lions.

Step 4: Sliquifier


Obtain the Sliquifier and bring it back to the spawn point, using it on the orbs, causing the orbs to spin and Richtofen to speak.

To build this special weapon you will first need to locate and obtain the five parts for it - these are all located near the Power Room in the building you previously jumped to in order to turn on the power, so backtrack to there and jump back across.

There are a total of seven (7) random spawn locations where the parts may be. These are:

  1. On a table near the boiler near where you jumped to the power building.
  2. To the right of the power switch, on the sewing tables.
  3. Near the power switch, on one of the sewing tables.
  4. To the right of the workbench cage; inside the small opening.
  5. At the bottom of the stairs opposite the workbench.
  6. In the kitchen to the left of the workbench.
  7. Between the TV and the Couch near the top of the stairs.

After you collect the five parts you assemble the weapon, at which points its collection icon will hover in the air, and all of the members of your party can claim one from the icon.

This weapon will insta-kill any Zombie you hit with it, leaving behind a greasy Zombie slick on the deck (hence the name) that other Zombies who are approaching will slip on; using the weapon create slicks to cause a group of five Zombies to pack together.

Target and dispatch all five with a single shot from your new weapon, unlocking the Achievement Slippery When Undead (15G) In Die Rise, kill 5 zombies with a single shot from the Sliquifier. Once you have that bit of side-mischief managed, resume the steps...

Step 5: Lion Tiles


Now seek out the Lion Tiles that are scattered about and, facing the spire, have your team set up their launchers (and you yours) aiming towards the Radio Tower, and begin launching Zombies continuously into the Tower until a number are killed sufficient to satisfy the requirements to power up the Tower. You will know you have succeeded when he base of the Tower is lit.

Step 6: Finale


Purchase the Galvaknuckles and head up the ramp leading to the Radio Tower base, and split up so you are each in melee contact with the power circuits at the corners of the Tower.

Continue to attack/melee the blue-lit circuits until you to power the Tower, the successful doing of that being the mechanism that unlocks this Achievement. Good on ya!
