Full Review for Burnout Revenge by Lurch5000

Introduction

The actual game itself is very exciting. The carnage you can create by just crashing your viechal, or the good feeling you get when you take out one of your opponents. A good game for people who like a good fast playing game with some goregous looking cars from small sports cars, to mosterous 4b4's.

Graphics

The graphics are very good compared to other racing games. The detail in the cars and the courses is very well placed, and the overall realness you can see in the races and crashes, is almost like watching a high speed street race on TV. But most impressive are the bits of wheel and bumper that comes flying off the car when you crash, a truly extreme sight to see.

Sound

The sound is good also. The sond of the engin while your waiting to sart. The songs picked for the game truly match the tempo and srength of the game. The sound as you colide with other veichals and turn your car to a pile of metal is very alike to a real road acident you see in evry day life.

Gameplay

The gameplay is quite bsaic when your talking about a car game. Apart from the "crashbreaker" and "aftertouch" which only feature in this game, and give it a needed complexity and makes you think about youre next move. Basicly it is not dificult to master the controls and you will be fine by your 5th race.

Lastability

This is the only weakness of the game. The fact that all you are doing is race after crash after race after crash, With nothing much different as you higher your level, appart from the main difference which is difficulty. But appart from that you would get bored and want a new challenge quite quickly.

Overall

The game is an overall legend. Talked about in school almst all the time. All of it's features built up make a great, action packed, carnage filled game. Which gives you the chance to get behind the wheel of a car and do what the hell you want whenever you want!
