Kamiizumi’s Soliloqy

After awakening the Fire Crystal, head back to Starkfort. The previously locked door in the first floor should be opened now. Go upstairs and you should be able to access the chests in the room. There’s also a locked blue chest among them. Obtain a Dragon Fang, Bacchus’ Wine and Ice Charm from the chests. After looting the chests, continue upstairs.

Starkfort Interior 3F

Head to the right to find a chest containing an X-Potion. Head to the west this time till you reach a dead end. Theres’ a hidden passage going south then west that will lead to a chest containing a Safety Ring.

Take the stairs to the northwest first to reach 4F. From there, follow the straightforward path going south then take then go downstairs once again to reach a secluded room in 2F with a chest. Open it to get a Courage Ring. Backtrack all the way to the 3F and take the northeastern stairs this time.

Starkfort Interior 4F – 5F

Pick up a Kunai from the chest in a dead end along the way. Continue to the stairs to witness a scene. Once done, take the stairs to the southeast corner to reach the chest in 3F that has a Turbo Either. Return to the previous floor and take the Power Bracers from the chest in the northwest. Prepare your party and save your game. When ready, go upstairs for a short scene and a boss battle.

Be careful when he’s a positive BP or neutral BP. He will attack three times consecutively. After that, take one turn to revive your allies and heal them up. Use your stacked BPs to boost your stats and attack at the same turn.

Kamiizumi’s a Swordmaster and he specializes in counterattacking. You have to change your attacks accordingly, depending on his moves. Nothing Ventured counterattacks Physical attacks only while Before Swine counters spells. Take note of the character he targets with Know Thine Enemy. If that character hits him with a single-target attack within the same turn, Kamiizumi will counterattack with 400% damage.

After the battle, you’ll receive the Swordmaster asterisk. You can now leave the area.
