Introduction

From the creators of the Brothers in Arms series, Gearbox gives out a new RPG called Borderlands. Play as four characters trying to reach the Vault, a place full of fame and loads of fortune. With many many weapons to choose from, I am sure you will have loads of fun with this game, funny puns, and weird storyline. Oh, and welcome to Pandora, and no, not Avatar either.

Graphics

I give the graphics a 10/10. These are very unique graphics, and some I like. I wouldn't know what they would be, I say abstract. These graphics make the game a whole new world, and will make you fit in. The Bandits and gore makes the world a whole lot bloody. Creatures make the game look very nice, and make the game look good.

Sound

The sound isn't purely the greatest ever. Since the place is fictional, the game will have it's own. Weapons have their own unique sound, but every weapon of the same type is the same. NPC's also sound the same and make the game a bit boring. The stuff is good, but could have been a bit better.

Gameplay

The Gameplay just never ends. The story is very long and has a lot of missions. There are also a lot of side missions to play. Trying to get to the Vault will take you forever, and with enemies getting stronger along the way, you will certainly have a hard, but fun time. With Live, you can also play with three other people. If you don't, you can simply play by yourself or splitscreen with a friend. You can also have duels and play in arenas with friends. Playing with a friend makes the game a bit harder, and the monsters of Pandora become stronger, but better loot. If you do have Live, there are three DLC's to buy, and with the newest one, The Secret Armory of General Knox, makes the level cap from 50 to 61.

Lastability

With so many missions, and a high level cap, you will be playing this forever. The story is so long and the missions you have to do are simply long and hard, you will have a challenging time playing this, but it will be surely worth it. The DLC's also make the game even longer, and more fun and challenging.

Overall

I give this game a 9/10. Why? It wasn't perfect. The game is great to play, and simply a lot of social fun. The story will have you on your seat, and you will be mad crazy wondering what weapons to keep and what mods to have. There is simply something missing from this game that makes it perfect, but what? I don't know.
