Bioshock is an amazing 1st person shooter by Unreal & 2K, one of the first releases on the 360, but still one of the best yet. You play an outsider to the 'great' city of Rapture. Run by a power hungry idiot, helped out by the few people who havent gone insane yet, you try to help find your way back home & save the people of Rapture.
Top notch! The blood is realistic. The gunfire is stunning. Even the glow of the Big Daddy's eyes is truely amazing & some what terrifiying.
Everything in Rapture seems to be alive and life-like
Which is great for a 1st person shooter! The game's graphics are something that you will sit at and stare while you bash a spliser's head in
You can't hear your enemies coming, the echos of gunfire in long halls and you can even tell how far away someone or something is by listening. The alarms of security and the grinding of the drone bots is truely life-like
Echos can be heard in certian stages where echos should be heard and if you can hear you enemy coming, hide or pack heat!
The shooting is accurate and the battles are fun. You will often be tempted to start the whole game over on hard mode just so battles last a lil bit longer. Achievments are pretty easy at first but will often challenge you as a good game should. There are also alot of 'secret' achievments which the game wont tell you what to do untill you do it, encouraging you to search far&wide for anything out of the ordanary in an underwater city filled with lunatics and monsters....
You will want to go back and do missions with other wepions or plasmids or just get all wepions or upgrades
Even just go back and harvest/rescue a missing little sister
Or even just go back and get the last achievments
Yet after thats all done which will only take 2 or 3 runs, the game losses it shine and seems drole...
Very little flauts , gameplay sound & graphic are top-notch but it lacks lastability, just like most 1st person shooters but if you are a fan of them,or looking for something different, I highly suggest that you at the very least rent it or borrow from a friend, but like I said, if you enjoy 1st person shooter's, the definatly ass BioShock to your game
