Will Pokemon Z Ever Come?

When it was first revealed a few years back that the Pokemon Company had decided to go in the direction of 7th Generation Games without first releasing the rumored Pokemon Z, many fans of the gaming series were not only shock but also severely disappointed. The original Kalos Region Pokemon Games of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y left most players wanting for a little more substance, missing the mark compared to Pokemon Games released before them and the few that have been released since. Because of this, it's easy to see why so many players were taken back by this decision.

Since that time, the Pokemon Company has not only released the first set of 7th Generation Games, but they have also released the sequel games for said generation (something they didn't do in the 6th Generation). On top of this, the 7th Generation of Pokemon has almost concluded, with the Pokemon Company's sights set on the rumored 8th Generation. That now begs the obvious question: Will Pokemon Z Ever Come?

To be quite frank, odds are Pokemon Z will never come to be. It's sad to say, but with the 8th Generation of Pokemon already on the horizon, it just doesn't seem likely at this point. Honestly, the only way Pokemon Z will even have a shot of ever coming is when the Pokemon Company decides to make 6th Generation Remakes, possibly opting to release Pokemon Z as the remake/sequel to both Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. However, since that could be almost a decade away and no one really knows if the Pokemon Series will even be going for that long, the fact still remains, unfortunately, that Pokemon Z will most likely never see the light of day.
