PokeBank Update Details Released

After both Pokemon Sun and Moon have been on the market for over two months, details on the soon-to-come PokeBank Update - one that will include compatibility from both the Sixth Generation Games and the Virtual Console First Generation Games to the Seventh Generation - have finally come from Hong Kong Nintendo.

This release of information, specifically, was mainly in regards to the First Generation Transfer Pokemon. From what was said, most transferred Pokemon from the Virtual Consoles of either Red, Blue or Yellow will have at least three stats with Maxed-Out Individual Values. The natures and abilities of these Pokemon, since such a thing didn't exist in Pokemon twenty years ago, will be at random, with a chance at them knowing even their Hidden Ability. Like all Pokemon that were found in the Kalos Region and now the Alola Region, these Pokemon will have a unqiue GameBoy Marking in their profiles.

Also told was how the National Pokedex in both Sun & Moon would sync up with the games you use in PokeBank, listing the Pokémon you have seen/caught in each game and combining them, as well as listing the games you have each given species of Pokemon in. (You no longer have to deposit your Pokemon in PokeBank in order to register them into your National Pokedex.)

Finally, it was confirmed that you will be able to send Battle Points once again and that a number of your trainer stats (Eggs Hatched, Pokemon Captured, etc) will be tracked and cross-referenced between all of your games. However, still no date on when this update will become available was given in said announcement. It looks like Pokemon Players around the globe will have to wait a little while longer to get their hands on their Pokemon from earlier Generations.
