Pokemon Sun & Moon Final Starter Evolutions Revealed

Just ten days after the release of the Special Demo of Pokemon Sun & Moon, the exact same number of days after said Demo was hacked into and major spoilers revealed, the Pokemon Company has finally decided to officially unveil the final evolution for Alola Starter Pokemon. And, yes, they are the same ones found in Demo's Coding.

The final evolution for Rowlet, the Grass Type Starter Pokemon, is Decidueye. It's a Grass / Ghost Type Pokemon. It also has a move called Spirit Shackle that does damage and at the same time traps that Pokemon from switching out of the battle.

The final evolution for Litten, the Fire Type Starter Pokemon, is Incineroar. It's a Fire / Dark Type Pokemon. It also receives a special move called Darkest Lariat that does damage and ignores stat changes.

And lastly, the final evolution for Popplio, the Water Type Starter Pokemon, is Primarina. It's a Water / Fairy Type Pokemon. It too has a new move called Sparkling Aria that does damage and at the same time heals the burn of any target.

There were also three new Island Guardians added to Tapu Koko, and they are Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini. Tapu Lele is a Psychic / Fairy Type Pokemon with the ability Psychic Surge that sets the Psychic Terrain, which also prevents priority moves from being used. Tapu Bulu is a Grass / Fairy Type Pokemon with the ability Grassy Surge that sets a grassy terrain. Tapu Fini is a Water / Fairy Type Pokemon with the ability Misty Surge that sets a watery terrain. All Island Guardians will have a Z-Move called Guardian of Alola.

More news also came about what was first believed to be the Pre-Evolution of Lunala. This Pokemon is actually to be called Cosmog, and it's said to be extremely rare. Perhaps there is still more to be told about it and if it has a connection to the Moon Legendary Mascot, but for now, all that is know about it is that its a pure Psychic Type with the ability of Unaware.

And finally, it was confirmed that in Pokemon Sun & Moon, there will be no Gym Leaders and Elite Four. Instead, a player will face Trial Leaders and then the Battle Tree at the end of their journey. At the Battle Tree, a player can battle or team up with previous generation Champions and Special Characters, such as Cynthia, Wally, Red & Blue.
