2) Sephiroth
I only wanted to put one villain from the Final Fantasy series on this list and it was a toss up between Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII and Kefka from Final Fantasy VI. Many hardcore fans of the series would perhaps argue that Kefka is eviler and crazier than Sephiroth. I still think Sephiroth is scarier because of his innate natural power. Sephiroth was legendary for how powerful he was. The mere mention of his name would send fear into people's spines. He could single handedly defeat any monster or person on the face of Gaea. The fight never happened but I think he could have even killed Ruby or Emerald Weapon had their paths ever crossed.
Known for his flowing silver hair, piercing mako eyes, and incredibly long Masamune sword, Sephiroth is one of the most recognizable villains in video games. The Masamune is a weapon that appears in almost every Final Fantasy but most fans of the series immediately think of Sephiroth upon hearing the word. You can even buy a real life replica of the Sephiroth's Masamune.
In addition to burning Cloud's hometown of Nibelheim, wrecking a large portion of Midgar, and nearly destroying the entire planet, Sephiroth is also responsible for the notorious killing of one of your party members early in the game.
Love the list and yay for adding Lloyd. Not many people think of The Legend of Dragoon or its characters when creating video game lists.

kane is my favriote villian of all the villians i know of because i have command & conquer 3 tibiueriem wars and o my gosh kane is the best

2 metal gear bosses btw. If your gonna make a rule not to include 2 bosses from a franchise you should stick to it.
Kane is not an villian, he's an fictional character.
I've never heard of lavos or kane or the first villian (i can't remember his name), but i agree for all the others, they're all pure evil. Except Bowser; he's just plain greedy, but yes, very persistant.
I would include GLADOS from portal. Her sharp wit and determination puts most male and human villians to shame.
I can really only agree with Sepiroth and Ganon. The others, while some maybe be pretty bad, that's all they are. Bad. Nothing that will leave a mark or be remembered extensively...
