EA is Cleaning House - and You Might Not Like It

This seems to be the month for Electronic Arts to make unpleasant or unexpected announcements, starting with some no-go games and withdrawal of a named sponsorship.

PS4 = NO Titanfall

Gamers who were hoping to see EA's upcoming smasher Titanfall on the PS4 will be disappointed to learn that the game giant has confirmed this week that the game will be an Xbox One Exclusive Title.

During the most recent Earnings Conference Call EA made that and other announcements -- though the loss of Titanfall on the PS4 is sure to be a disappointment for Sony fans.

Free-2-Play Command & Conquer Canceled

The upcoming and widely anticipated Free2Play Treatment for the legendary C&C franchise has been given the hatchet, while its developing satellite studio, Victory Games, has been given the Axe!

The rash action of disbanding the studio and canceling the game was the direct result of negative feedback from fans to the recently run Alpha Test Trial for the game.

Tiger Woods is No More

Well, he is still a golfer, but what he is NOT is the name behind EA's annual Golf game offering.

After 16 years of ups and downs with celebrity sports names attached to the game, EA has decided that PGA Golf is a better label to stick on it -- probably because the PGA is single and doesn't date. Just saying...
