We have 3 cheats and tips on Arcade. If you have any cheats or tips for Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge please send them in here. You can also ask your question on our Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge Questions & Answers page.
This game's arcade mode follows a good/bad ending pattern , meaning : depending on how you play and finish the game , you will either get the bad ending (which will simply show amakusa's destroyed castle as the credits roll begin ) or you will get to see your character's actual ending (aka "good ending")
The key to determine which ending you will get is the time limit : after selecting your character you will see a cutscene with them looking at amakusa's faraway castle with the screen also specifying a certain time limit with usually ranges from 5 to 9 minutes (depending on the fighting level you select for your character which is either beginner , medium or upper) and as you progress through the 6 regular stages the timer above your life bar (not the battle timer) will starting counting from 0 , if you go over that said time limit by the 6th stage then you will fight your character 's rival and get the bad ending , otherwise if you succeed in beating the clock then you will fight amakusa , followed by zankuro and finally your rival themeselves and in turn get your character 's true ending.
