Animal Crossing: Wild World is the DS version of Animal Crossing, and it doesn't disappoint. Although it is clearly aimed at a younger audience, many adults enjoy it's simple yet lovable gameplay and enjoyable concept. It won't appeal to those who like shooting/action games, but is a good buy.
Very detailed graphics in some places, the museum exhibits and furniture, for example. The graphics are not meant to be life-like, and that is clear. They are wonderful for those who are not aiming for a game which appears as though it is occurring in the real world.
The sound quality is great: not tinny, and easy on the ears. Although the music in the background can become quite repetitive. It's nice that the music changes with weather/time/season. The sound settings can also be altered via the phone in the attic.
Gameplay is very good on Animal Crossing: Wild World. It is able to be played using the sylus or the buttons. The story is sweet and very suitable for children, so the controls should be as well. This game delivers on that front. It is also useful to add that the gameplay is not jerky, and there are a minimal amount of glitches.
This game has no strict 'ending', so it could theoretically go on forever. However, I would imagine that after all the goals are achieved, there really isn't much more to do. It's a game you can pick up and put down whenever you feel like it, and you can delete your file if you wished to begin again.
A wonderful game, with nice graphics, good sound and interesting gameplay. I would gladly recommend it to anyone who likes relaxed games, whether they be young or old. You cannot deny it is a lovely, sweet game which appeals to me purely because adorable animals run enthusiastically about the place.
