You can select this option by talking to Isabelle from your seat in the town hall. There’s a 20,000 bell processing fee to impose an ordinance; however, it is free to cancel it. Having an active ordinance will help you a lot since it will modify the town’s entire function. For starters, choosing the option to “make the town wealthy” since impose an ordinance that raises the selling price of items sold to shops.

Beautiful Town

This ordinance will make the town neat and clean. This is a good ordinance to impose if the player won’t be able to maintain the town everyday.

• Villagers will more likely water or plant flowers

• Using “time travel” method won’t affect the town

• Cockroaches won’t appear (including the ones you can catch)

• Fewer weeds will appear

• You can’t catch trash when fishing

Early Bird Town

This is for players who wake up early. This ordinance is easily overshadowed by the benefits of using the “Time Traveling” method.

• Villagers will wake up early

• Shops will open earlier

Night Own Town

This is for players who can only maintain their towns in the evening. This ordinance is easily overshadowed by the benefits of using the “Time Traveling” method.

• Villagers will stay up later

• Shops will remain open later

Wealthy Town

This is a very helpful ordinance especially for new players seeking to gain more bells to pay off their home expansion loans, get more public works projects done or simply want to earn a lot of bells.

• Shops sell and buy items for 20% more

• Re-Tails daily premium items list will increase to two

• Medals obtained from the Tropical Island will also increase
