Try and play in the arena as much as you can as this will earn you 1 premium currency for every 80 zombies you manage to kill. When you have gained the use of a firearm this is easy to accomplish.

Make a point of avoiding the zombie hordes at all costs unless you are left with no other option but to face them.

The best defensive tactic if you have firearms is to keep moving in circles while shooting the zombies, if you are using melee weapons you need to keep moving backwards in a straight line making sure you avoid getting trapped in the corners while you are moving.

When you are fighting the zombie try and get the Aim bonus as often as you can as it rewards you with more resources. The easiest way to get the Aim bonus is to stand still facing the zombies and hit them as they arrive. This works best with solitary zombies as you do not run the risk of being surrounded.

Before you exit a level make sure you always get the 'Area Clear' message and special bonus from the chest. This may be wheels, perks, coins, or premium currency.
