Enter the system's settings and change the date to one day ahead. Doing this will make the wait times longer allowing you to stock everything. When you have stocked up just change the date back.

| How do you employ more than 5 people |
You have to have several apartment levels. Each apartment level can hold up to 5 people. Then after that you can employ them in store levels. Each store can have 3 employees max. Try building another apartment level and when it's done give them a job. If this isn't the issue your game is glitched. |
