You drag the father to the workshop on top of the picture of the two fire hydrants and his action will be "putting out oven fire" hope I helped!
There should be a cure hydrant somewhere in your house look for it and once you find it will take you to the oven.
You need to drag them to the fire extinguisher in the work room and then I usually praise them for doing it xx
I figured it out for virtual families 3, you have to buy one from the store in furniture in the accessories tab
You can buy the fire extinguisher out of the store and then drag one of you family member to it and it should be out
You drag them to the phone and call the right person usually appliance repair to come and fox your oven
