Sims picking a neighbor's plants
I went to visit a neighbor. They had a lot of plants ready to harvest. I tapped on one and it harvested for me. Does this effect them? I'd hate to think I just stole their crops.

No. You're not stealing. Some members such as myself make lots with plants, cakes and cookies for other neighbours to collect to earn Simoleons and XP. If you leave and go back again the plants will still be there and you can collect them again and again.
