When you have pressed a bit above the new house it comes up with a notification on the screen of your sims and sim family's you then press on what family you want moved and they get moved in for 5000 simoleons.

Unfortunately, that answer only works for a house that has been previously occupied, and if you are at your maximum population.

I have a problem where I spent a lot of money to have an awesome new skateboard park house built, but I can't move anyone in. Every time I click on it, I only get the option to add new sim to my town.

I have a second empty house (because I completed the goal about having a sim move out of the town). This house is different. It makes simoleans on a timer -- the new never-been-occupied house does not. When I click on the vacated house, I get the Relocate Sim menu. But I only get the Create a Sim menu on the new house. :(

Am I just stuck?

Why don't you add a new sim for the house then make them leave town

Can you relocate a sim to a newly built house and still get to add a new sim?

Ok this is most likely too late, but if anyone else has this problem I have an idea that may work... First, in the new house just make a new sim live there. After u make it, relocate it to a house that has already been occupied. Now the new house would have been occupied so, it will give you and option to relocate there.. Hope I helped

Why don't you just add a new sim exactly like the sim you want to move out then delete the sim you want to move. You'll just have to get reacquainted with other sims

That's smart, but they would have to go through a lot to make them friends again with another sim or in love with another sim...

You have to go to edit town, click on the lot and change it to a resedential. I hope that helps, I am not sure what your asking.

If you buy a new house when it's finished building touch it an it gives you the option to move your sims there Smile

I want to move a sim to an empty lot because you get to build your own house there. Do I really need 5000 simoleans? Bummer

First, go to your newly built house. Then, sell some items that you don't like or don't need importantly until you get 5000 cash.
Then you move in a created sim.
I hope you like my way to do that.
I am from burma. I love you guys.
Bye guys
Good luck
