can't start a new day

can't start a new day
So after getting the area with the cat upgraded to a certain point after getting the dino area done it is supposed to allow me to start a new day, and I have NO tasks and no matter what I do it will NOT give me the option to start a new day! I don't get new tasks, no new day, just able to do more and more levels!
What is going on with this? How can I fix it? I tried already uninstalling it and reinstalling it with the same results!
