Try to get combinations, especially the wrapped candy and the striped candy, and the sprinkle donut hole and the striped candy. Those two are the best combinations and when used together will clear over half the board. Those combinations will also get you to places that are otherwise unreachable. Another useful combination is a wrapped candy switched with another wrapped candy, when used together this combination will ignite a 6 by 4 square which can clear a huge area.

Use the following cheat to get extra lives if you don't use Facebook. Set the clock ahead on your device 2 hours to get 4 more lives in your game. Schedule the time you have to pay back for when you are sleeping and remember to change the time from PM to AM if you are going past midnight.

Whenever you start a new level look to see what the hardest element is and devise a plan to get rid of it first before you use up lives.

When getting rid of jellies just focus on those that are on the edges, bottoms and corners as these jellies have the least number of combinations which can eliminate them therefore making them the hardest to get rid of.

Try to memorise which patterns lead to which special candy and set them up whenever possible. Recognising and repeating these patterns will allow you to clear the board and earn your ticket to the next level faster.

Prioritise your threats and get rid of the most dangerous evil candy first. A good strategy is to kill low number bombs first, then chocolate, then the blocks.

It is more beneficial to start crushing candies on the bottom of the board because when candies drop down it creates the potential for a cascade effect which is the equivalent of free moves.

Make a note how candy is striped. Candy is striped in the same direction as the final candy moved to complete the previous formation so if you move a candy horizontally it will make a horizontal stripe that will then also explode horizontally.
