Introduction [GINTRODUCTION]

In playing Majora's Mask 3D, I found myself wondering what the fastest
possible run of the game would be while still getting a full inventory and
maximum health. This guide is more or less the answer to that question.
By following this guide, you too can complete all of the challenges
Majora's Mask 3D has to offer in five total cycles of the time loop.

This method is not for the faint of heart. It uses quite a lot of basic
speedrunning tactics (pacifist runs, skipping events, performing tasks out
of order, etc.), and many tasks are on a strict schedule with little room
for error. If you're new to the game or not comfortable with rushing
through it, then this is not a strategy for you.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

The First Cycle - Deku Blues [GFIRSTCYCLE]
=-=-=

The first cycle of the game is limited in what you can accomplish, but
there still is a great deal you can do that will save you a lot of trouble
in the later cycles. The first thing to do in this cycle is to clear the
Deku Scrub Playground. Make sure to do this each day, so as to get the
relevant heart piece before the next cycle.

Just as in a regular game, go through the motions to open the path to the
clock tower: save the Great Fairy, find the Bombers, go through their
hideout to the Astral Observatory, use the telescope to look at the Clock
Tower and get the Moon's Tear, and get the Land Title Deed for the Moon's
Tear from the Business Scrub. As you're doing this, make a point of
collecting the 15 Rupees in the Astral Observatory every time you pass by
those pots, and deposit your money into the bank. Don't forget to do the
Deku Scrub Playground event each day too! You will receive a heart piece
upon completing it on the third day. Also, bet randomly at the lottery
each day and get the winning numbers for that day later for exploiting in a
later cycle.

At midnight on day 1 or 2, give the hand in the toilet the Land Title Deed
to get its heart piece. Other than this, build up Rupees with the bank and
get the Adult Wallet, and however much else you can build up. 500 or so
Rupees is fairly ideal, but more is good too (I managed 940). Finish up by
flying up to the Clock Tower, grabbing that heart piece if you didn't
already, and reclaiming your Ocarina.

The Second Cycle - Unlocking Half of the World [GSECONDCYCLE]
=-=-=

Dawn of the First Day
---==

Right away, play the Song of Inverted Time and enter the Clock Tower to
claim the Song of Healing, Deku Mask and Bomber's Notebook. Then roll your
way through the south gate and all the way into the swamp (a brief story
sequence happens on the way, but it doesn't take any game time). Roll on
through the first part of the area and into the second. Activate the save
point in the swamp (SAVE) and learn the Song of Soaring, then make your way
along the southeast as a Deku to the Mysterious Woods.

Current Time: 7:30AM

Follow the monkey to Koume, talk to her, then exit the woods and talk to
Kotake at the potion shop. Head back to the woods and return to Koume,
giving her the potion. Use the Song of Soaring to return to the Southern
Swamp save point, and enter the boat shop. Take a ride on the boat and get
off at the Deku Palace. As a Deku, cross the right-hand lilypads and fall
into a hole in the tall grass behind the palace. Get the Magic Bean and
fill your bottle with water, then plant the bean and water it at the dirt
hole back outside of where you fell down into this little area in the first
place. Ride the Deku Launchers to the chamber and play your Deku horn for
the monkey to learn the Sonata of Awakening.

Current Time: 10:30AM

Once you regain control, cross once more to the right of the Deku Palace,
but this time detour to the small platform off to the right of the first
lilypad. Follow the linear path to Woodfall. From here, make your way up,
using Deku bubbles and spins to kill the enemies in your way, and activate
the save point at Woodfall (SAVE). Break the pots here too for a Deku
Stick and a fairy to bottle for safety purposes.

Current Time: 11:30AM

Play the Sonata of Awakening. Enter Woodfall Temple and rush across to
the far end of the first room, ignoring any chests or enemies along the
way. In the second room, head to the lower level, cross the water as a
Deku, and enter the only door on the bottom level you can get through. Use
the Deku Launcher in the middle of the room to reach the chest with the
key, then head back to the previous area. Open the locked door and push
the stone block, hop over to the Skulltula and defeat it with a Deku
bubble, then push the stone block from that side of the room. Use a Deku
stick (you can find a Deku Baba in this room if you don't have one) and
light it with the torch, then light the torch further along in the room.
Put away and take your Deku stick out again, then bring that fire up to the
upper level torch. Put away and take it out again and use it to burn the
cobwebs blocking the path ahead, and go upstairs.

Use your Deku stick to light all 3 torches in the room up here, then go
through the door. Use the Deku Launcher to get to the first platform, and
Deku bubbles to kill the enemies flying about. Use the other two Deku
Launchers in the room to get to the far end and another stairwell. Beeline
for the door straight ahead and to the left, then follow the catwalk to the
door here. Defeat the Dinolfos to obtain the Hero's Bow. Play the Song of
Soaring to exit the dungeon, then leave the dungeon and play it again to go
to Clock Town.

Current Time: 2:30PM

Head for the Bomb Shop and buy the Bomb Bag for 50 Rupees (withdraw funds
from the bank if you don't have that much; have 50 additional Rupees on
hand as well). Warp back to the Clock Town save point (SAVE) and head to
the Mayor's residence. Speak to the woman in the right-hand room to get
the Kafei Mask. Afterward, head for the Stock Pot Inn and talk to Anju
wearing the Kafei Mask. Then head to Honey and Darling's shop near the
gate in this part of town and clear do their Bombchu minigame. If you
screw up, load and try it again.

Current Time: 4:00PM

Warp back to the swamp and head north. Shoot down Tingle (buy a map of
Woodfall from him) and take a Pictograph of him, then head for the swamp
boat hut and turn in the photo to the man at the counter for a heart piece.
Warp back to Clock Town and take the northern exit this time. Open the
path to the mountain by shooting the icicle above the path twice with
arrows, then head up the mountain. On the way through the next area,
you'll need to bomb some snow boulders. You should reach the Mountain
Village save point (SAVE); continue onward past it to the bridges-and-
islands section (shoot down Tingle and buy a map of Snowhead), and past
that to the Goron Village.

Current Time: 6:00PM

Talk to the Goron here, then drop down from the ledge and enter the Goron
Shrine. Head up the ramp into the next room and talk to the child Goron,
then head back outside and to the north end where the owl is waiting.
Agree with the owl, then jump across the platforms it reveals with its
feathers to reach the Lens of Truth. Use the Song of Soaring afterward to
jump straight to the Mountain Village (SAVE), and use the Deku form to hop
across the icy pond to a nearby cliff. Use the Lens of Truth to reveal the
path up (left, right, left). At the top, enter the shrine and use the Lens
of Truth to see the Goron ghost. Talk to him, and play the Song of Healing
to get the Goron Mask. Put it on.

Current Time: 7:00PM

Go behind the grave and pull it to reveal the hot spring, then fill your
bottle. Rush outside and roll straight down into the lower area in the
bridges-and-islands area. Use the hot spring water on the frozen Goron
nearby to defrost him. Talk to him twice to learn the Lullaby Intro. Head
back to the Goron Village and ground-pound in front of the door to open it.
Go up and play the Lullaby Intro to the crying Goron to get the Goron
Lullaby. Song of Soaring back to the Mountain Village.

Current Time: 8:00PM

Head up the last path you haven't taken from the Mountain Village to reach
the path to Snowhead. Use the Goron roll technique to cross the path to
the entrance of Snowhead and its save point (SAVE). Play the Goron Lullaby
as a Goron, then roll your way up to and inside of the temple.

Current Time: 9:00PM

Break the icicles blocking your path, and push the block forward. Enter
the door on your right and Goron-roll to the far side. Head through the
door to your left, and then cross the central pillar to the door on the far
side. Pull the block tower to your left out of the way to get the key
behind it, then play the Song of Soaring to return to the dungeon entrance.
Open the locked door. Head straight for the bombable wall in the back of
the room and blow it open, then head up the stairs it reveals. Up here,
knock down a few stalactites so you can reach the chest above (it's in a
snow boulder) to obtain a key, and use it to get to the next room. In said
next room, hit the Goron switch with a Goron pound, cross the gap as a
Hylian, Goron-pound the switch on the far side, pound the switch that you
used as a stepping stone to that side, and climb back up to the second
level as a Hylian with the platform that's risen on the lower level.

Goron roll-jump the gap, then cross the snowy incline to the right and
roll-jump the gap from this side as well. Enter the door on the far side
and defeat the Wizzrobe boss to get the Fire Arrows. Play the Song of
Soaring to exit the dungeon, and again to return to Clock Town.

Current Time: 12:00AM

Head to the east side of town and use the Deku Launcher to reach the upper
level of the Stock Pot Inn (grab the Stray Fairy if it's in the area).
Head inside and talk to Anju in the kitchen to get her letter. Mail it at
any mailbox in town. We're past the most stressful part of this cycle, so
you can take much of what follows at a more leisurely pace. This is a good
point to save, too.

Visit the Laundry Pool and talk to Guru-Guru to get the Bremen Mask (grab
the Stray Fairy if it's in the area). Go ahead and get the Great Fairy's
Mask. Take some time to gather some of the extra items (see Appendix A) as
time permits. The next checkpoint is the dawn of the second day.

Dawn of the Second Day
---==

Right away, warp to the Clock Town save point (SAVE) and have 70 Rupees on
hand. Head to Honey and Darling's to complete the day's event (bomb
basketball), and perform sub-perfect at the archery minigame house to get a
quiver. Perform perfectly on the archery minigame after to get a heart
piece. Play the treasure chest game as a Goron for yet another heart
piece.

Warp back to the Mountain Village and return to the Goron Village area.
Use Fire Arrows to melt the ice blocking the path to Medigoron, and get a
Powder Keg from him. Take that keg back out of his pit and to the bridges-
and-islands area. There is a series of ramps here that you should take the
keg up, and use it to blow up the boulder blocking the Goron Racetrack.
Once the boulder is gone, hightail it back to Medigoron and talk to him
again to get access to Powder Kegs from the Bomb Shop at any point from
here on out. You're free to complete tasks in Appendix A until the next
time checkpoint.

Current Time: After 4PM, before 8PM

Soar back to Clock Town and head to the Laundry Pool. Enter the door here
and talk to the kid in the Keaton mask for a scene. Take the pendant he
gives you to Anju at the Stock Pot Inn; grab some bugs from the kitchen in
your bottle while you're there. With this done, soar back to the Southern
Swamp (SAVE) and buy 2 Magic Beans from the Business Scrub nearby. Then
shoot the giant Octorok and brave the waters to the southwest. You will
take some damage, but you should have enough hearts to survive and reach
the nearest island. Clamber onto it, and use a Fire Arrow to open the
Swamp Spider House.

Head straight into the main chamber from the entrance. There are four
Gold Skulltulas you can reach right at the moment: break some pots beneath
the stairs for one, find one crawling along the floor, kill one as it
climbs low on the right wall, and use some bugs on one of the dirt holes on
the walls. Head back to the entrance, lift a rock, and capture some bugs.
Now send those bugs after the other hole in the wall. Once all five
accessible Gold Skulltulas in the entrance hall are dead and you have their
tokens, take the door to the right of the entrance.

In here, smash the nearby pots for GS #6. Then transform into a Goron and
start smashing the giant pots to reveal GS #7 and 8. Shoot down the
beehives on the ceiling for GS #9 and 10. Head to the rear of the room and
cut some vines down, then head down the tunnel it concealed and kill GS
#11. Exit the tunnel and play the Sonata of Awakening as a Deku for the
scrub nearby. Use the freed Deku Launcher to reach the upper level. Up
here, kill GS #12 when it's low on the wall and grab its token. Grab a
nearby rock and catch some more bugs, then use the Deku Launcher below to
reach the high door on the far side of the room from where you are now. Go
on through it.

Now you're on the upper level of the main room. Use the bugs on the wall
dirt patch nearby for GS #13.  There will be another GS on a wall nearby;
kill it with arrows and use a Deku Launcher to collect token #14. Then
kill GS #15 on the other side of the upper level and get its token too.
Head to the bottom level and fill your bottle with water, then go back to
the giant pot room. Head to the area directly above the Deku Launcher and
enter the door up here.

Hit the crystal switch as soon as you enter. GS #16 is on the back of a
pillar here, so kill it with your sword. Shoot down the beehives to find
GS #17, then shoot GS #18 on the ladder and climb it. Plant your first
Magic Bean here and water it, then ride the plant to GS #19 and an upper
level path. Enter the door at the end of said path.

In here, roll into the tree to reveal GS #20, 21, and 22. #23 and 24 are
crawling about the room, and #25 is in a beehive. Once you have all of
them, return to the main room and get some more water. Enter the one door
in this room you haven't been to yet. In this room, use a bomb to blow up
a boulder, and plant your other Magic Bean (and water it). While riding
the plant, shoot the GS #26 sulking below the upper level platform and
collect its token when the Magic Bean plant carries you near it. Then hop
back down and roll into crates to reveal GS #27 and 28.

Climb the ladder up to the upper level, and shoot GS #29 on top of the
monolith in the center of the room. Jump onto the monolith to get the
token, then scale the ladder back up again. GS #30 is on the back of a
torch at the far end of the upper level. With all of the Gold Skulltulas
killed, head back to the entrance of the Spider House and talk to the man
there to claim the Mask of Truth.

Once more, any time you have free before the next day, feel free to
complete tasks in Appendix A.

Dawn of the Third Day
---==

Once more, soar to Clock Town and head to Honey and Darling's for the
latest event (archery). Complete it for your well-earned heart piece.
Head to the Laundry Pool, enter the doorway, and talk to the man there to
get the Keaton Mask and Special Delivery to Mama. Wear the Keaton Mask and
lift the center shrub in North Clock Town to meet Keaton, and correctly
answer his quiz to get a heart piece (quiz answers are in Appendix C). Go
to the Milk Bar any time after 10AM (but before 8PM) and give the Special
Delivery to Mama to the woman at the counter while wearing the Kafei Mask
to get a bottle with Chateau Romani in it.

Make sure you have at least 80 rupees on hand. Head to the Milk Road,
just west of the entrance to the Southern Swamp in Termina Field. Make
your way down Milk Road (get map from Tingle, SAVE) to Romani Ranch, and
enter the building with dog decals on it. Talk to the woman there, then
put on the Mask of Truth and find the dog that says it doesn't think it
will lose. Take it to her and bet at least 80 rupees. Repeat this process
until you win with 2nd or better place to get another piece of heart. If
you don't get your heart piece within 3 races, consider loading from your
save and trying again. Go back outside and enter the area next door. Use
the Bremen Mask and march all of the Cucoo chicks to turn them into adults
to claim the Bunny Hood. This hood will be your go-to equipped item from
here on out.

Your next task is to gather all of the Stray Fairies in Woodfall Temple.
Warp there, then enter the dungeon. There are two in the first room: one
clearly visible, one in a chest nearby; Launch to both. In the next room,
use a Fire Arrow to raise the central platform and purify the water, then
head down the ramp and kill the Deku Baba for SF #3. Hop across to the
small island in the corner and break some pots for SF #4. Go back up to
the top level and hit the torch up there with a Fire Arrow, then ride the
spinner to the far side and grab the nearby SF #5. Deku Launch to the
torch platform and hit the switch, then go to the far end of the room to
the chest that appeared for SF #6. Cross the spinner again, hit the switch
to make the ladders appear, and enter the door nearby. Knock down the
beehive for SF #7, then backtrack to the previous room and head down the
staircase.

Hop to the lower level and grab SF #8, then head up the stairs and through
the door. Kill all of the enemies here for a chest with SF #9 and go
downstairs. Shoot the beehives to reveal SF #10, and kill the Skulltula in
the corner for SF #11 (if you didn't grab it during your first visit).
Warp back to the temple entrance, return to the spinner room, and enter the
door on the other side of the spinner. From here, pop the immediately-
visible bubble with SF #12 and put on the Great Fairy's Mask to lure it.
Hop into the Deku Launcher and gather SF #13, 14, and 15 from the alcoves
on either side. Once you have all 15, warp out of Woodfall, warp to the
Woodfall save point (SAVE), and take the Deku Launchers to the fairy
fountain. Claim your prize, a doubled magic meter.

Whatever time you have left, complete tasks in Appendix A; prioritize
getting the Don Gero Mask if you haven't yet. Definitely sell your Chateau
Romani at the Curiosity Shop, it's worth 200 Rupees. When you're too short
on time to do anything else, play the Song of Time to begin the third
cycle.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

The Third Cycle - Unlocking the Rest of the World	[GTHIRDCYCLE]
=-=-=

Dawn of the First Day
---==

Play the Song of Inverted Time immediately and head to the east side of
town. Using the Bunny Hood, you can hop across the area above the gate out
of town to an alcove containing 100 Rupees in a chest. Once you have that,
head to the Bomb Shop to buy a Powder Keg as a Goron, and to the trading
post to teach the scarecrow a song (XYYYYYYY or YXXXXXXX are easy ones to
remember), and buy a Red Potion while you're there too. Warp to Milk Road
(SAVE) and blow up the boulder with the Powder Keg to access Romani Ranch.

Talk to Romani, tell her whatever you want, and agree to help her. If you
bought a map from Tingle, the balloons will all show on the minimap, making
this event easy. Complete it to learn Epona's Song. Warp back to Milk
Road, go to the Gorman Racetrack nearby, and call Epona. Ride up to the
Gormans and agree to race them. During the race, stick to the inside
curve, always keep 1 carrot in reserve, and jump fences whenever possible
to win the race handily. You will receive the Garo Mask as your reward.

Current Time: 8:00AM

Warp to Clock Town, take the western exit, and call Epona. Jump her over
the wall to reach the Great Bay Coast. Ride over to the water's edge,
enter, and push the Zora Mikau to shore. Talk to him, then play the Song
of Healing to obtain the Zora Mask. Swim out to the research lab and
activate the save point (SAVE). Shoot down Tingle and buy a map of the
area from him too since you're here already. Swim out to the north and use
the Zora Barrier ability while swimming to break the boards over the
entrance to the pirate base.

Stealthily swim to the far side of this opening area and hit the Goron
switch with a Goron pound. Head into the water once more and swim into the
grate that opened. Swim-barrier through another wooden wall, push the
stone block forward, and pull the stone block at the end of the next
corridor out of the way. Then go back and break a few more wooden walls
outside of where you pushed the first block. Swim on through and walk
along the path to avoid the current in the area above. Surface past the
current and enter the door.

From here, get onto the central platform and use the Goron form to break
the barrels. Hit the switch and roll down into the prison cell for the
heart piece, then open it back up and head up the stairs. Shoot the switch
up here with an arrow, then swim as a Zora through the opened grating.
Step on the switch, then walk on top of the floor grate and quickly shoot
the crystal switch. Keep your bow drawn and aim to the right as you go up
to hit another crystal switch. Hop off the water pillar and enter the
opened door. Make your way up the catwalk into the fortress proper. Save.

Shoot the guards in your way to the center platform and use the Lens of
Truth to find Shiro. Give him your Red Potion to get the Stone Mask, which
you should put on immediately. Climb up the ladder (take a Pictograph of
the pirate up here, and be sure you get her face in frame) and enter the
doorway, then head forward for a brief scene. Shoot the beehive through
the bars, then go to the end of the corridor and open the door to enter the
chamber below. Open the chest to get the Hookshot, and use it immediately
to get into the tank above. As a Zora, sink down and put the Zora egg in a
bottle, then warp to the Great Bay Coast. Climb up the ladder and deposit
the Zora egg in the large tank in the Marine Research Lab.

You may have some free time at this point. If so, consider tackling some
Appendix B items until the next time checkpoint.

Current Time: 3:00PM

Warp back to Clock Town (SAVE) and speak to the mailman in his house with
the Bunny Hood on. Play his 10-second "running" game and get a perfect 10
seconds to get a heart piece. Warp back to Great Bay Coast (SAVE) and
enter the leftmost house along the beach.

Bomb the wall. Slide down the ramp, then turn around and hookshot Gold
Skulltulas #1 and 2. Pull out your Fire Arrows and aim up to find the
cobweb covering GS #3; burn them and hookshot your target. Then hookshot
across the fence via the target and enter the Oceanside Spider House
proper.

There are a staggering 8 Gold Skulltulas in this little area! In general,
the hookshot is your best friend here, so assume you need to use it any
time I don't specify otherwise. Up in the rafters you'll find GS #4. On
the wall on the far side of the stairwell, GS #5 crawls in and out of a
mask. Burn some cobwebs covering some decorative pots and punch them as a
Goron to reveal GS #6 and 7. Head down the stairs and turn around looking
upward to find GS #8 sneakily crawling along. Another pot down here needs
Goron-punching, as it has GS #9. Smash a breakable pot on top of some
crates to find GS #10, and burn a cobweb covering a hole to reveal a
cubbyhole hiding GS #11. GS #12 moves in and out of a mask on the wall
behind this cubbyhole. Head back upstairs, burn the cobwebs covering the
door up there, and enter the library.

Go straight in and pull the first dresser you see back towards the door.
Then pull the second dresser away from the wall to reveal a cubbyhole with
GS #13. Knock down the Skull Kid painting near this to reveal GS #14.
Climb up the obviously protruding stack of books nearby to reach the upper
shelves (don't wear the Bunny Hood up here, you'll overshoot every jump if
you do). Turn behind you to find GS #15 crawling in the rafters. Then
turn around and jump your way across the room, killing GS #16 on top of one
of the other bookshelves. Knock down another Skull Kid painting at the far
end of the room to reveal a cubbyhole iwth GS #17 in it. Then fall down to
the ground level and pull the bookshelf near where that cubbyhole is to
reveal a short passage with GS #18 and 19 in it. Leave the library and
take the first door on the lower level to reach the dining room.

Do not attack or do anything to the Stalchildren here. Right away, jump
up on the table and Goron-pound it to reveal GS #20, 21, and 22. Check the
rafters above the entrance to find GS #23, and knock down the Skull Kid
paintings to find GS #24. Beat the pots in this room as a Goron to reveal
GS #25. Return to the stairway area and take the other basement door this
time.

Roll into the crates here to reveal GS #26 and a passageway leading to GS
#27 (it's on the wall above the entry to the passage, inside of it). Up in
the rafters, use a Fire Arrow to uncover GS #28 for hookshotting. Climb up
on some crates in this area to find GS #29 hiding on a wall. Then climb up
the crates near the door out of the room and hookshot to the upper level.
Smash the barrels up here to find GS #30. Now get out of here with the
hookshot and Goron roll. Talk to the guy at the entrance to get your
Giant's Wallet.

Current Time: 7:30PM

Warp to Clock Town and take the eastern exit to Termina Field. Call Epona
and ride into the entrance to the Ikana Canyon area. Hop the fences with
her and keep left, climbing off and walking the rest of the way. In the
Ikana Graveyard, head straight to the far end end play the Sonata of
Awakening to challenge Skull Keeta. Defeat him and use the Hookshot to
reach the chest with the Captain's Hat. Head right back to the graveyard
and wear the Captain's Hat. Tell the Stalchildren here to open the grave.
Drop down, light the torches to reach the next room, defeat the Iron
Knuckle, then learn the Song of Storms. Any free time you have before the
next checkpoint, work on Appendix B items.

Current Time: 12:00AM

Warp back to Clock Town (SAVE) and head to the north side of town. As the
old woman enters, stand near the mailbox. Attack Sakon the thief with your
sword and you will be given the Blast Mask as your reward. Make a quick
detour back to the Great Bay Coast and give the Pictograph to the fisherman
to get the seahorse. You should have time for an Appendix B item or two
before the next checkpoint.

Current Time: 2:10AM

Warp to Milk Road, head to Romani Ranch and wait for 2:30AM to roll
around. Kill "them" as they appear and keep them away from the barn; they
will all die at 5:15AM, and you will get a bottle with milk in it as your
prize. Drink the milk; we need the bottle free. Take care of some more
Appendix B items before the next day starts.

Dawn of the Second Day
---==

Warp back to Great Bay Coast. Head towards the two pillars out at sea to
reach Pinnacle Rock. Release the seahorse and follow it, then defeat all
of the sea serpents here and retrieve the 3 Zora eggs. Get your heart
piece from the seahorses, then warp back to Great Bay Coast (SAVE) and
deposit the eggs in the tank.

Now it's time to re-infiltrate the Pirate Base. Using the Stone Mask and
Hookshot, you can immediately enter the main area from where the Goron
switch from before was. The path to the remaining 3 eggs is pretty clear
from the map, and Hookshot targets are set up to easily locate each. Two
of the eggs are reached from the same starting Hookshot target chain.
Collect the remaining 3 eggs. As a Zora, stand in front of the tank and
pull out your instrument to learn New Wave Bossa Nova.

Warp to Zora Cape (SAVE). Play New Wave Bossa Nova to the Zora here to
summon a sea turtle, and use the Hookshot to climb on board.

Go right into the dungeon proper and ignore the torches. Dive as a Zora
and push the yellow switch, then ride the elevator up to the upper level
and hop across and continue on to the turbine room. Enter the mid-level
tunnel, and just swim on through to the next passage. Climb up to the door
and enter it.

In this next room, dive into the non-moving water and open the chest to
get a small key. Hop into the fast-moving water to be carried back into
the turbine room, and dive to the bottom of the pool. Take the bottom-
level tunnel to the red source room. Climb up to the upper level and make
your way to the locked door. Enter it, restock from the Chus and pots as
necessary, and enter the miniboss room. Fight Wart (it's easiest if you
get rid of its protective eyes by running up to it and just spin attacking
by spinning the circle pad while mashing B repeatedly; this does cause you
to take quite a bit of damage, but is very effective). Grab the Ice Arrows
after you win.

Warp to the entrance, and ride the sea turtle out of the dungeon. Work on
Appendix B items until the next checkpoint.

Current Time: 5:50PM

Warp to Milk Road (SAVE). Hurry to Romani Ranch and talk to Cremia to
hitch a ride into town. Keep the Gormans away from the cart with arrows to
earn your Romani Mask. You have a little more free time for Appendix B
items before the next task.

 Current Time: 10:00PM

Head to the Milk Bar (it should be at or past 10PM by now) and perform
on-stage in all 4 forms to get the Troupe Leader's Mask. Be sure, before
you leave town, that you have a fish (you can catch them in the Trading
Post), a bomb, and some milk (you can buy it at the Milk Bar). Also get a
Magic Bean from the Deku Scrub at Soutern Swamp (or at Clock Town if you
already traded the Swamp Title Deed to him).

Head to Ikana Graveyard again and open the grave. Head below and use the
Lens of Truth to make your way through to the Iron Knuckle. Defeat it for
a piece of heart.

Return to the river portion of Ikana Canyon. Run over to the river's edge
and use Ice Arrows to freeze the Octoroks solid. Use the Hookshot to scale
the cliff and activate the save point up here. Go straight back behind the
odd house into the cave, and play the Song of Storms for Sharp. Outside,
put on the Stone Mask and enter the Music Box House. In the basement, play
the Song of Healing for the mummy to get the Ghibdo Mask.

(NOTE: It will probably switch over to day 3 at some point; don't worry,
our next checkpoint isn't for some time.)

Dawn of the Third Day
---==

Back outside, head up and buy a map from Tingle, then dive into the well
at the top of the hill. Keep the Ghibdo Mask equipped at all times down
here. Start out by talking with the Ghibdo closest to you and give him a
Magic Bean. Enter the room, then go to the end of the corridor and talk to
the left Ghibdo. Give it your fish, and enter its room. Grab a Deku Nut
from the Deku Babas in the alcove just inside the door, then go back to the
previous room and talk to the other Ghibdo. Give it the Deku Nut and enter
its door. Talk to the Ghibdo on the far end of this room and give it a
Bomb to enter its door. Defeat the Big Poe in here and capture it in a
bottle. Backtrack to the room where you got the Deku Nuts.

Find the Ghibdo at the north end of the room and give it the Big Poe to
enter its room. Give your Milk to the Ghibdo at the far end of this room,
and light the torches in the area he lets you into to reveal the Mirror
Shield. Use it to open the passage to Ikana Castle.

Rush to the entrance of the castle and go into the main hall. Use Fire
Arrows to hit both switches (the Ghibdo Mask will keep the Re-deads off you
here), and enter the left door. Hit the crystal switch and Bunny Hood run
to the far end. Hit the switch here, then rush over once the ceiling is on
the rise and use the Deku Launcher to get to the switch above. Step on it
with the Bunny Hood on, and hop over to the door that's now open (you won't
land on the burning ceiling, don't worry).

In this room, Deku Launch over to the switch nearby, then shoot the
Skulltulas with arrows and jump towards the center of the room to land on
an invisible platform. From this platform, jump over to the nearby corner
ledge and then to the opened door. Head upstairs and outside to the roof.
Climb onto the balcony to the right, hit the crystal switch, and quickly
jump onto the Deku Launcher. Use the two Deku Launchers in quick
succession to reach the heart piece, then get back up to the roof once
more. Climb back on the ledge, but this time make your way to a Deku
Launcher over the entrance to the castle. Use it to reach a switch, then
return to the entrance hall and take the right entrance.

Using the Mirror Shield, burn the block and use the Ghibdo Mask to get
past the Re-deads. Head through the door and fight the Wizzrobe yet again.
Now go through the door (Ghibdo Mask on) and head upstairs. Walk over the
cracked floor and drop a Powder Keg there. Drop down into the hole with
the Ghibdo mask on, and destroy the sun block down there. Now enter the
boss chamber and defeat the Ikana warriors (Fire Arrows on the curtains,
Mirror Shield light on their fallen bodies) and the king. You will get the
Elegy of Emptiness. Warp back to Ikana Canyon, and enter the Stone Tower
area.

The path up to Stone Tower Temple is pretty self-explanatory. Use the
Elegy of Emptiness on the switches with a different form (Hylian, Goron,
and Zora) for each set of 3 blocks you have to move, and make your way up
otherwise using hookshot targets. Activate the save point at the top, use
the Elegy of Emptiness to move the platforms into place, and then enter
Stone Tower Temple.

Take the left door immediately. Bomb the cracked wall and break the
nearby crates, then drag the stone block over the switch. Head into the
next area and use the Elegy of Emptiness on the other 3 switches (one is
Goron-sized, take note). Bomb the damaged floor, and use the Mirror Shield
below to melt the block. Defeat all of the Armos Knights and get a small
key, then head back upstairs and open the locked door.

In here, cross under the bridge, do a Zora swim-dive up onto the switch
platform to make the chest appear, and open that chest for another small
key. Swim through the passage into the next room, and surface. Enter the
doorway that does not lead back to the entrance of the dungeon. Punch the
blocks as a Goron, then use the Mirror Shield to charge the leftmost mirror
for about 15 seconds. Use that mirror to charge the next mirror, and use
that mirror to destroy the sun block. Go through the door beyond said sun
block.

In here, just ride the wind as a Deku to the far end and enter the door to
face the Garo Master. Wear the Bunny Hood and run around. When you see a
shadow behind you, quickly roll forward, and then turn around and attack to
hit the boss. Repeat until it's dead, and claim your Light Arrow prize.
Warp out of the dungeon. Light Arrows in hand, you now have everything
you need to blitz all four dungeons during the next cycle. You are free to
do Appendix B tasks until the next checkpoint.

Current Time: 10:00PM

Warp back to Clock Town and buy the All-Night Mask from the Curiosity
Shop for 500 Rupees. Then warp to Ikana Canyon and make your way to Ikana
Graveyard; open the grave for day 3. Down here, guide Dampe to each dirt
spot and unearth the Big Poe; defeat it and claim your prize, a heart
piece. Use whatever time you have left for other Appendix B items you
lack, and when you're out of tasks or short of time, start the fourth and
penultimate cycle with the Song of Time.

The Fourth Cycle - Blitzing the Dungeons [GFOURTHCYCLE]
=-=-=

Dawn of the First Day
---==

This will be the craziest cycle by far. We're going to complete every
single dungeon and get all of the items that become available from doing
so. Start with the Inverted Song of Time, as ever. Get 80 Rupees from the
bank, then go buy a Powder Keg from the Bomb Shop and a Red Potion at the
Trading Post. Warp to Southern Swamp and head for the Mysterious Woods.
Let the monkey lead you to Koume and give her the potion, then warp to
Woodfall. We're going to clear this dungeon in record time.

Cross the first room as usual. Use Fire Arrows to light both the far
torch and the central spinner platform. Cross the spinner platform and
enter the door next to the switch that makes the ladders appear. Hop onto
the central island below and shoot the eye switch. Deku Launch to the
upper level door this gives you access to and fight the frog boss. You can
easily knock it off the turtle with either Deku Launches while it's on top
of your current flower or with bombs. Shoot the frog with Light Arrows
when it's crawling about for a quick win. Speak to the frog with the Don
Gero Mask on, then claim your Big Key prize and return to the spinner room.

Enter the previously-barred door and use the Deku Launchers to reach the
roof-covered Deku Launcher. Hit the crystal switch just before you go to
said roof-covered Launcher, then launch over to the no-longer-enflamed Deku
Launcher and blast up to the nearby roof. Take the Deku Launcher up here
and fly to the boss door; enter.

To defeat Odolwa quickly, Deku Launch and drop a Deku Nut on his head,
then attack his exposed head-eye. Repeat this process until he dies, claim
your heart piece, and claim Odolwa's Remains (and the Oath to Order song).
After the story sequence, cut the vines. Once you have control again,
bottle the Deku Princess and hightail it out of there. Run straight to the
Deku Palace and go into the royal chamber as a Deku. Release the Deku
Princess here, then go to the save point outside of the Deku Palace and
save.

Make your way to the Deku Shrine and perform the Deku Butler race with the
Bunny Hood equipped. It will not be particularly difficult since you will
be able to keep up with the butler handily, but take the Bunny Hood off
when performing jumps across platforms (you're very likely to overshoot and
fail the race if you don't). Claim the Mask of Scents from the butler,
then warp to Clock Town.

Current Time: 2:30PM

Before entering the Stock Pot Inn, put on the Goron Mask. Talk to Anju
and tell her yes to get the room key, then put on the Kafei mask and talk
to her again. Now warp to Southern Swamp and talk to Koume to perform the
swamp boat archery challenge. Hitting her target 20+ times should be no
problem, and you will get a bottle for your troubles. Once you've got it,
warp to Snowhead, play the Goron Lullaby as a Goron, and Bunny Hood/Goron
roll your way to the dungeon entrance (SAVE).

Push the block into the hole to open the dungeon, then take the east exit.
Shoot SF #1 and 2's bubbles and use the Great Fairy's Mask to draw them to
you. Hookshot over to the chest and open it for a Small Key, then use Fire
Arrows to clear the path to the door nearby. Enter it and take the stairs
down. Hit the switch in the lava as a Goron and open the chest for SF #3,
then go back upstairs and back through the door you came from before. Go
up the stairs, claim SF #4, shoot the eye with a Fire Arrow while standing
on the platform, and hop onto the upper level. Use the Lens of Truth and
Hookshot to get to the chest with SF #5 in it, then warp back to the
dungeon entrance.

This time take the left door using your key. Defrost the cube and switch
with Fire Arrows. Push the cube towards the bombable wall at the rear of
the room, and step on the switch to make the chest with SF #6 appear
(Hookshot to it). Climb on the cube and get onto the ledge above the
bombable wall, then jump over onto the crate on the opposite side.
Goron-pound the crate to get SF #7. Hookshot over to the northern door and
enter it. Drop to the lower level and pull the double-stacked blocks to
the far western end of the room to make the chest with SF #8 appear
(Hookshot to it), then grab the Small Key in the alcove and exit to the
east.

Take the door north of here (use Fire Arrows to open it) and kill all of
the enemies here to reveal the chest with SF #9. Light the torches, enter
the small room nearby, and Goron-pound the switch. Warp back to the
entrance once more, and take the west door once more. Bomb the wall and go
upstairs. In here, use the Lens of Truth and climb onto the non-ice-
covered platform here. Use the Lens of Truth to reveal the alcove with a
chest, which you should Hookshot to for SF #10. Enter the nearby door and
put on the Great Fairy's Mask. Pull out your bow, turn on the Lens of
Truth, and free SF #11 from the alcove in the ceiling. Use Fire Arrows to
clear the path to the next room.

Punch the two discs on the central pillar, then Hookshot over to the
nearby torch. Cross the wooden lattice area and head upstairs. From here,
look down with the Lens of Truth on to find an alcove with a chest;
Hookshot to it to get SF #12. Return once more to the lattice area and go
up the stairs again. Roll across the area to the west and punch the two
discs out of the central pillar, then enter the nearby room. Use the Lens
of Truth to spot SF #13 hidden away in an alcove; pop its bubble and use
the Great Fairy's Mask to summon it to you. Head upstairs and defeat the
two Dinofols for SF #14 and 15. Go through the door.

Drop onto the pillar below and break the snow boulders, then head
upstairs. Goron-roll-jump across the gap, then stop and use the Deku
Launcher to fly to the east door. Defeat the Wizzrobe in here with Light
Arrows, and enter the revealed door to get the Big Key. Return to the
central pillar from here, destroy the snow boulders again, head upstairs,
and Goron-roll-jump once more to the boss door. Head inside and defrost
Goht.

Goht is a bit annoying, but you can instantly knock him down if you manage
to Goron-roll right onto his back. Otherwise, it takes 4 blows from Goron
rolling into him or hitting him with Fire Arrows. Shoot the exposed eye
when he falls with Fire Arrows. Four times of this will result in Goht's
defeat, giving you his heart container and remains.

Current Time: Before 3:40AM

Warp to Clock Town and head for the Stock Pot Inn. Talk to Anju in the
kitchen and go mail her letter off. Then warp to the Mountain Village and
upgrade your sword for 100 Rupees. Do this before the next day starts.

Dawn of the Second Day
---==

Warp to the Mountain Village and head to the islands-and-bridges area.
Sink as a Zora to the nearby chest to get a heart piece. Open up the Goron
Racetrack and win the races for a bottle and some Gold Dust. Warp back to
Snowhead and go down the loop around the dungeon instead of up this time to
find the Great Fairy shrine. Claim your prize for the Stray Fairies, an
upgrade to your Spin Attack. Warp back to the Mountain Village and claim
your Razor Sword, then immediately give it back to them and have them turn
it into the Gilded Sword.

Warp to Zora Cape (SAVE) and play New Wave Bossa Nova as a Zora to open
the way to Great Bay Temple. Hookshot onto the turtle to enter the
dungeon. Yes, we're going to do this place with no sword; it's not that
hard since most of the dungeon you're using Zora form anyway. In the
entryway, use Fire Arrows to light the torches and claim SF #1. Go into
the next room and sink below the entry platform to find SF #2. Push the
switch in the water to start the waterspout, then return to the door and
ride up the eastern elevator. Shoot the Skulltula far to the west and wear
the Great Fairy's Mask to claim SF #3 as you hop onto the platform at the
top of the east side. Cross the waterspout and go into the turbine room.

Go along the western edge of the room and climb up the ladder. Roll into
the barrel for SF #4, then dive into the pool and sink as a Zora. Use Zora
boomerangs to break the pot in the center of the room and claim SF #5.
Take the middle passage in the water and clamber up onto a ledge in the
room it takes you to. Hookshot the pots on the platform across the way and
wear the Great Fairy's Mask to get SF #6. Hookshot over to the map chest,
and use Ice Arrows from here to open the path to the southern room. In
said southern room, freeze the Blue Chu and push it so you can climb up and
push the switch here. Return to the previous room and head through the
eastern passage.

Kill all of the Bio-Deku Babas and open the chest it spawns for SF #7,
then head through the door. Carefully take aim in the green water below
for the pot and use the Great Fairy's Mask to claim SF #8. Use Ice Arrows
to make a path to the north, and Fire Arrows to open the way. In here is a
miniboss frog. Hit it with Fire Arrows when it's hopping about to make it
hop into a slime bubble. Dodge out of the way of the bubble's shadow, then
use Ice Arrows to freeze it when it's completely on the ceiling. Repeat
this process until you win, then talk to the frog with the Don Gero Mask
on. Enter the other door to get to the Big Key. Warp to the dungeon
entrance.

Current Time: 12:00PM

Leave the dungeon and warp back to Clock Town. Head to the Stock Pot Inn
and talk to the Gorman on the second floor while wearing the Troupe
Leader's Mask. Then warp to Milk Road and talk to the Gorman Bros while
wearing that same mask. Put on the Bunny Hood and hightail it back to the
Stock Pot Inn (you can't warp for this, I tried; Tatl won't let you). Give
the Gorman his cure to get another bottle. Go ahead and kill some time
with Appendix B content until the next checkpoint.

Current Time: 4:10PM

Warp to Clock Town and head for the Laundry Pool. Talk to the frog here
with the Don Gero Mask, then enter the back room door and talk to Kafei.
Give his pendant to Anju at the Stock Pot Inn. Warp to Southern Swamp and
swim as a Zora out to the southeastern area. Talk to the frog here with
the Don Gero Mask, then warp to Mountain Village and talk to all of the
assembled frogs with that same mask on for a heart piece. Return to Zora
Cape (SAVE) and return to Great Bay Temple.

Return to the turbine room and take the bottom passage this time. Push
the switch here and warp back to the entrance. Go back into the waterwheel
room and to the path to the turbine room, but don't go in there just yet.
Instead, use the Hookshot on the ceiling target nearby and hop off the
waterspout you land on onto another switch platform. Turn this switch,
then turn the similar yellow switch in the center of the room to reverse
the turbine's flow. Now return to the turbine room.

Freeze the waterfall and enter the door on the north end of the turbine
room. Fire an Ice Arrow at the east platform area and climb up there.
Push the switch, then make an ice platform in the northwest corner of the
room; hop on it. Use the Hookshot to get to the upper level and claim SF
#9 from the chest. Return to the turbine room and take the upper passage.
This will take you to a chamber with a massive paddle wheel. Climb onto
the elevator and freeze the waterfall to stop the paddle wheel. Using the
Bunny Hood, jump at a 45-degree angle onto the paddle wheel, climb between
the spokes, and turn around towards the wall the elevator is on to find an
alcove. Hookshot up to it and open the chest for SF #10. If there's a
platform just below the alcove, drop onto it. Otherwise, drop back down
and cross the paddle wheel to the east to land on a ledge.

If you're on the platform, shoot the waterfall with a Fire Arrow to start
the platform moving again. Aim your Hookshot for an alcove with a torch
below to reach SF #11. If you're on the ledge, you can reach this alcove
from where you are anyway; just jump onto the non-moving platform and
Hookshot over. Either way, return to the elevator after and once again
freeze the waterfall. Hop back onto the paddle wheel, and head west this
time to a doorway.

Enter the doorway and immediately sink as a Zora into a nearby pit. Swim
into a barrel while using your Zora barrier to get SF #12, then take off
the Zora Mask and float back to the surface. In here, use Fire Arrows to
pour water onto the see-saw platforms, allowing you to scale to higher
parts of the room. Take the paired see-saws up to the pushable switch,
push it, and then cross the nearby pipe along the wall. Fall into the
fenced-off area and hookshot over to a chest with SF #13. Drop back into
the room and use a Fire Arrow while on the last remaining see-saw to reach
the next room. From here, dive into the water and return to the turbine
room.

Back in the turbine room, take the lowest entryway that has a green pipe
leading into it. Once you reach the room it leads to, go to the entrance
of the next passage but do not enter it. Use Zora boomerangs to free SF
#14, then wear the Great Fairy's Mask and swim your way west to the pipe
leading out of the water. Once you can stand on the pipe, shoot the bubble
with SF #15 in it and let both of the Stray Fairies in the room reach you.
Walk up the pipe and cross it to the switch. Push said switch, jump
across, and enter the boss door. Fall down to face Gyorg.

The first part of this fight is straightforward: wait for Gyorg to
surface, then hit him with 4 arrows in quick succession (you can do this
easily by leading the target). When Gyorg washes up on the edge of the
platform, shoot yet more arrows into his eye. Do this three times to enter
the second part of the fight. For this part, take on a Zora form and keep
your distance from Gyorg. Look for mines rising out of the ground, and
when you see one, barrier-swim beeline for the crystal on it and quickly
swim towards Gyorg without detonating the mine. If you do it right, Gyorg
will inhale the mine and you will be able to attack his eye by sinking to
the ground and attacking it as a Zora. Do this three times to defeat
Gyorg.

After the story sequences, save and Hookshot across the palm trees to the
bombable rocks on the cliff nearby. Blow them up, then enter the Great
Fairy Shrine to claim your prize, doubled defense. Warp to Great Bay
Coast. Swim out to the boat to the north and play the platform-jumping
game with the fisherman (you have to Hookshot to his island from the boat).
You only need to get 20 points to win, so just stop jumping about once you
hit that goal and wait. You're free to do Appendix B tasks until the dawn
of the third day.

Dawn of the Third Day
---==

Warp to Mountain Village and pick up your Gilded Sword. With that in
hand, warp to Stone Tower, open the way in, and head inside. Save, and
shoot the eye to spawn a chest with SF #1. Take the right door and Light
Arrow the block. Go ahead and grab the compass, then jump into the water
and hit the switch at the bottom. Swim through the passage under the
bridge, and Zora-swim-leap up onto the switch to spawn the small key chest.
Get the key, then toss a bomb over the fence to hit the crystal switch.
Swim under the bridge and Zora-swim-leap onto the ledge on the west side.
Hit the block with a Light Arrow, blow up the obstructing Beamos, and open
the chest for SF #2. Head through the locked door.

Bomb the floor, defeat the Armos for a Small Key, and Hookshot up to the
alcove to the chest with SF #3. Warp back to the dungeon entrance and take
the east door again. This time cross the bridge (turn around and hit a
switch with a Fire Arrow to spawn another chest) and head into the room
beyond. Use the Light Arrows on the suns along the east wall to reveal a
chest with SF #4, and use Light Arrows to clear the eastern block to reach
SF #5. Shoot the block on the north end with Light Arrows to open the way
forward.

Drop into the lava below as a Goron and Goron-pound the switch, then roll
over to the big swith and step on it. Make your way back to the ladder,
climb up, and Deku Launch to the first wind pillar. Land on the ledge to
the west and open the chest for SF #6. Ride the wind around to the far
side of the room and grab SF #7 before entering the next room. Defeat Garo
Master again and proceed through the opened door. Use the Hookshot on the
Hiploop to remove its mask and defeat it, then take the southern exit to
the bridge. Shoot the Eyegore on this bridge with Light Arrows until it
dies, then claim SF #8. Warp to the entrance, head outside. Shoot the red
switch, and re-enter the temple upside-down. Save.

Walk onto the Majora symbol in the middle of the chamber, turn around, and
hit the sun emblem with a Light Arrow. Open the spawned chest for SF #9.
Enter the only door. Hit the block with Light Arrows, then hop down into
the room below. Ride the wind columns to the chest you spawned in the
regular dungeon for SF #10. Take the wind colums to the top level and land
on the blue switch. Use Elegy of Emptiness to leave a Hylian statue on the
switch, then use Deku flying to reach the chest and claim SF #11. Fly up
to the bridge and enter the tunnel, hitting the switch in it. Backtrack to
the previous chamber and claim the Small Key that spawned. While you're
there, be sure to hit the sun emblem with a Light Arrow. Ride the wind
columns up to the door on the upper level.

In this room, hit the Light Arrow gem to flip the room. Goron-roll across
the lava, then hit the gem with another Light Arrow. Continue to the next
room. Shoot the gem in this room with a Light Arrow too. You'll need to
move the block in this room around to the Majora's emblem on the other
side, which will require multiple flips to accomplish. Chus that drop
magic and arrows respawn constantly in this room, so at least you won't
have to backtrack to restock. Once the block is in place, enter the opened
door.

There's another Wizzrobe fight in here, but it's not hard at all; use
Light Arrows for a fast victory. Hookshot to the chest that spawns for SF
#12. Enter the door nearby. In this room, Deku Launch your way across and
enter a side-tunnel. In here, you can defeat Death Armos with Light Arrows
and letting them slam headfirst into the ground if you wish, but it's best
to ignore them as you can. Find the blue switch in this area and put an
Elegy of Emptiness statue on it, then open the chest for a Small Key. Head
back to the open area from before and enter the door to the east.
Immediately detour to the south and kill a Death Armos, then hit the switch
here. Return to the previous room.

Collide the chain mines into each other, then Deku Launch over to that
platform. From there, Deku Launch to the east door. Cross the bridge to
the next miniboss room. To defeat Gomess, hit it with a Light Arrow to
expose its chest and then attack him with your sword. Repeat until he
dies. Grab the Boss Key, then warp back to the entrance.

Current Time: 3:30PM

Warp to Clock Town and visit the Laundry Pool back door area. Talk to the
Curiosity Shop owner to get the Special Delivery, and take it to the
Postman in his room on the west side of town. Follow him to the Milk Bar
and observe his delivery, then exit the Milk Bar and wait for him to exit
and stand in the corner. Talk to him to get his hat. Check a mailbox
wearing this hat to get a heart piece.

Warp to Ikana Canyon now (SAVE if it's 6:30PM or earlier), jump down, and
head down the east river bank. Wear the Stone Mask as you roll up the
path. Talk to Kafei beside the rock without that mask on, then put on the
Stone Mask and wait for 7:00PM. Once Sakon opens his hideout, follow Kafei
into it. Step on the switch. As Kafei, run into the next room and push a
block onto the switch. As Link, run into the next room and defeat a Deku
Baba. As Kafei, walk around the switches to hit the blue one; don't hit
any of the red switches, and if you do hit one, quickly hit a yellow
switch. As Link, defeat two Deku Babas to open the way for Kafei. As
Kafei, push the far-right block down, then push the block to its left onto
the yellow switch. Push the block below you onto the switch. As Link,
defeat a Wolfos (this is easier if you don't Z-target), then step on the
switch to finish this event. Warp back to and invert Stone Tower Temple,
and head back in.

Hookshot up to the chest you spawned earlier, then enter the door. Slay
the Eyegore blocking your way and continue. Hit the crystal switch in the
next room, then Hookshot your way to the boss door. Open it up and fall
down to fight Twinmold.

This battle can be tricky, but the first part is straightforward enough.
Shoot the eyes on the blue Twinmold until it falls onto the ground and its
eye is exposed. Shoot its eye at an opportune angle, and keep shooting it
until it burrows. When it re-surfaces, shoot the new eyes and take its big
eye out while it's spinning on the ground yet again. This will spawn the
Giant's Mask; grab it and put it on.

Now the tricky part starts. Roll over the Babymolds in your way, then
grab one of the big round boulders and toss it at the red Twinmold as it
flies around lazily. Once you do this, it will hit the ground. Move up to
its tail and hit A when the prompt says Grab. Spin the Circle Pad as the
animation plays. Repeat this process with the second boulder (don't throw
it when Twinmold has just popped up out of the sand, wait for it to be
flying around first). For this next time, you need to repeatedly punch
Twinmold as it flies around before it will fall down. Once it does, grab
its tail again and spin the Circle Pad to defeat it. If it escapes you for
more than two sand-dives, reload your save; you won't have time to finish
up. Claim your heart container and remains.

Current Time: 4:15AM

Warp to Clock Town and head to the Stock Pot Inn second floor. Enter the
first room and get the Rupees if you want, then wait for Kafei. Claim the
Couple's Mask.

Warp back to Stone Tower (SAVE) and head back into the right-side-up
version of Stone Tower Temple. Open the new chest in the first chamber
for SF #13. Take the east door again and float down to the new chest in
this room for SF #14. Then go all the way through the north room, across
the wind pillars, through the miniboss room, and into the room beyond for
SF #15's chest. Warp out of the dungeon, then warp back to Ikana Canyon.
Enter the Great Fairy shrine to the east of the Music Box House and claim
the Great Fairy's Sword. This will be cutting it dangerously fine; I
managed to complete it at 5:36AM!

Go deposit your Rupees, save, and play the Song of Time to begin the final
cycle.

The Fifth Cycle - The End of Everything [GFIFTHCYCLE]
=-=-=

Dawn of the First Day
---==

Now things really calm down. We've done nearly everything during the
previous four cycles, so what's left is basically clean-up duty. This is a
good cycle to complete the various "non-essential" entries in the Bomber's
Notebook as well, such as the lottery prizes, the Zoras with their pots at
Great Bay Coast, and the two Zora Hall events (give a Pictograph of Lulu to
the Zora on the upper level as a Zora; light the torches on the upper level
and talk to the Zora on the center of the stage as a Hylian). I'm going to
assume that, if you want to do these non-essential entries, you will of
your own volition.

The first task today is to go to Anju's grandmother at the Stock Pot Inn
and have her tell you her 2-hour story. Reply "On the night of the
carnival" to get a heart piece. Go to the mayor's residence at 10AM to get
a heart piece from the mayor by wearing the Couple's Mask and talking to
him. You can do whatever you want between now and the lottery draw
numbers. We're that free now. I suggest you use the Re-deads at Ikana
Castle (Ghibdo Mask + jump attacks, you'll get at least 60 rupees per visit
to the central chamber for little effort) to build up your rupees and get
the 5000-rupee heart piece. Once you've got your lottery prize, talk to
Anju's grandmother again and hear her other story. Tell her "I dunno" to
get the last heart piece not on the moon and jump to day 2.

Dawn of the Second Day
---==

Again, you can do whatever you want today. You are completely free. I
suggest you build up Rupees and get the bank heart piece if you didn't get
it on day one. Get the day's lottery prize too if you want.

Dawn of the Third Day
---==

Just like day two, you can do anything you want, and of course claim the
lottery prize if you want it. At the end, you should have 18 hearts, 62
Bomber's Notebook quests completed (the Bombers will say they have no new
rumors if you talk to them), all upgrades, all items save one (unless you
bought Bombchus at some point), and all masks save one. At midnight, head
for the top of the Clock Tower and play Oath to Order. Save at the save
point and pick whichever of the four kids running around you wish. Give
them masks when they ask for them. I will list them in their "canonical"
order. I suggest you give away the Bunny Hood last.

For the Odolwa dungeon, it's very simple: Deku Launch over to the first
spinning platform, then to the nearby ledge. Time your launch from here to
land on the golden Deku Launcher on the next spinning contraption, and
launch from there to the top-right corner to get a heart piece. Launch
back onto the contraption, then over to the top-left corner. Take off any
mask you're wearing and hand over masks to the Odolwa-child. Save once you
get back to the meadow.

For the Goht dungeon, it's shockingly straightforward but frustrating as
well. You need to Goron roll through what basically amounts to an obstacle
course, bouncing off of treasure chests to change angles and hopping over
pits. After the stretch of three spaced jumps, you can stop and take a
breather before rolling onward to the next ramp. Follow the linear path to
the heart piece at the end. This will probably take a few tries. Once you
have the heart piece, redo the course up to the point where I mentioned
stopping before. Walk up the rope bridge instead, then cross another rope
bridge and Goron roll off a ramp to the door out. Take off your mask and
give some masks to the Goht-child. Save once you get back to the meadow.

The Gyorg dungeon is simple and annoying both. You have to dive into the
water, hit a crystal switch, and then find the gateway you opened before it
closes. For the first area, take the left fork. For the second area, take
the right fork. For the third, take the middle path to get the heart
piece, then get swept back to the entrance. This time, take the left,
right, and ceiling forks. The last one in particular has a false end; keep
going even when you reach land and don't be fooled! Once you reach the
end, enter the door and take off your mask. Give child-Gyorg some masks.
Save once you get back to the meadow.

The Twinmold dungeon is very straightforward: it's just a gauntlet of
fights. The first fight is against a Dinofols. The second is against
another Garo Master, and rewards you with arrows. The third fight is
against an Iron Knuckle, and rewards you with Bombchus. Check the right
wall high up to find it has a crack. Send a Bombchu off towards the crack
with good timing to blow it open. Shoot the switch to open the way. In
this next room is a heart piece and another puzzler. The crack this time
is on the center of the ceiling, so once more you need to Bombchu it. Hit
the switch with a Fire Arrow to open the way. Take off your mask and hand
over your masks to child-Twinmold. Save once you get back to the meadow.

Talk to the kid wearing Majora's Mask, and he will give you the Fierce
Deity Mask. With this equipped, you can complete the last boss in about 60
seconds. I'm not even kidding here, it's that powerful. Defeat Majora and
enjoy your ending. Congratulations, you finished 100% of the game in the
fewest number of cycles possible!
